You may wish to contact the folks at RepairClinic.com. They have a large selection or repair and replacement parts at a fair cost. You'll need to know your brand name, model #, serial #, and the approximate age of the appliance.

Some models are a manual defrost. That meant every 3-4 weeks you must unplug it and let it defrost. These types usually have no fan in the freezer, instead it's a cold plate. If there is a fan in your freezer section it should automatically defrost. You might have a bad defrost clock, or a bad defrost heater.

yes.. costs is about $100.00 for a gasket (bought from an appliance store- add 4-6 hours of frustration trying to get the !@#$%^&* gasket to seat flat against the door frame.. Then call the appliance store.. probably about another 75-100$ to have them do it..
