I would like to reverse the door on my Zanussi ZDC68560W dryer

REVERSIBILITY OF THE DOOR
Proceed as follows:
1.Remove the screws which secure the hinges to the cabinet (fig.A.1). Remove the door.
2.Remove the screws which secure the hinge hole masking plates (fig.A-2) and fit the plates to the holes to which the hinges were previously fitted (fig.A-1).
    3.Remove the canister.
    4.Remove the work top.
5.Remove the left- and right-hand panels.
6.Remove the front panel hole cap (fig.A-4). To do so, squeeze together the anchor tabs which secure it to the cabinet.
7.Remove the screws which secure the door interlock (fig.A-3) to the cabinet and remove the lock.
8.Detach the connector from the door lock.
9.Remove the tapes from the wiring (fig. B) and separate the wires for the door lock from the remaining wires.
    10.Re-tape the remaining wiring.
11.Insert the general wiring harness into the support(s) positioned on the duct (fig. C) and position them parallel to the front panel so that they cannot come into contact with the drum. Attach to the anchor using a wire tie.
12.Insert the door lock connector between the drum and the canister container, then remove it from the position shown by the arrow (fig.D-1).
13.Insert it beneath the front brush cover (fig.D-2), secure to the anchors on the duct (fig.D-3), and remove the wiring from the other side of the cabinet.
14.Insert the door lock connector and secure with screws to the front panel (fig.E-5). Ensure that the wiring is not trapped between the door lock and the front panel.
15.Check that the wiring is routed through all the anchors released when removing the door lock wiring.
16.The excess section of the door lock wiring should be secured using a wire tie to the wiring cover (fig.D-6). Fit the masking cap into the hole from which the door lock was removed (fig.E-4).

Hotpoint tcem80c 6p not drying very quickly

Long Dry times tend to be caused by improper exhaust venting
normal ventng should be 8 to 10 feet long max should be flexible aluminum or solid metal venting if length is longer than 10 ft solid metal venting is a must ! White Vinyl is absolutley NOT advised ! ! make sure venting is as short as possble with no kinks or crushed areas and also you have good air flow out of dryer exhast outlet before connecting venting after connecting make sure you have good air flow at outside of home.........good luck !

Long drying times

Hi Paul. The most common reason that the dryer will not dry is there is a problem with the vent on the dryer. Hereis a link to troubleshooting we offer on our website: http://bit.ly/zkfnZd . I hope this information is helpful. Sincerely, Melaine, Whirlpool Socail Media.

How to remove the front panel of a maytag epic z dryer

If your unit is not drying well or slow dry it is being caused by poor external venting rather than internally. first make sure you are not crushing the vent hose behind unit then next clean venting in wall and make sure outside flaps are opening and closing properly before opening up dryer. Easy way to tell if it the machine or venting is to take vent hose off and connect a pair of sheer pantyhose to exhaust port on back of dryer and run a few loads if all works well your issue is in the wall not the machine

Drier dries too slowly. it does heat up but i always have to turn on again for 40 more minutes to complete drying. it does get hot. and i am not overloading.

You do not state if you are using a machine with an automatic drying sensor. If so the calibration of the sensor is off. Try setting the control to a dryer setting. If you are using it by time only, it would appear there may be a blockage in the air outlet. Check the damper flapper at the output of the air vent. It might be partially stuck closed thus reducing the air flow around the clothes. Just a thought that your washer spin dry may not be sufficiently spin drying the clothes and so that the clothes are overly wet when put into the dryer..

Dryer continues to run past the preset time.

If you are not running the load on "Time Dry", the machine will automatically use the sensor dry settings. Meaning that it automatically adjusts dry time with the dampness of the load. If you look near the time window you will notice that it says "est. time remaining". If you would like to have the unit run for just 20 minutes use the time dry button you will notice the dryness level light will turn off. The means your unit does not care how wet or dry the clothes are it will just run for 20 minutes. Hope this helped explain things.

My dryer is only blowing cold air and not drying

Probably either the igniter or the gas valve.  They are both located in the front on the lower right.  You will need to remove the top of the machine and the face to get to them.  Take the switch out of the door, tape it so it thinks the dryer is shut and plug it back in.  The igniter needs to let a certain amount of current through to open the gas valve.  The easiest way to check it is to run the dryer and see how bright it glows. If it's not almost white replace it.  If it doesn't glow at all check to see if it is getting power.  If it isn't you will need to get someone to look at the control board.  If you recently moved make sure your gas pressure going to the dryer is correct.  If the pressure is too high it will keep the valve from opening.
