Question about ESA EF402E 20" TV
I need a code to program an ESA sold by Circuit City. I tried all the Samsung codes as sugested by several others. No good. We have lost the original remote and have a Zenith Universal Remote that is several years old. Can anybody help?
I own a One-for-All universal remote (model URC-4220) , and my booklet says the setup code for an ESA TV ( without a built-in DVD or VCR) is 0171 or 0812. I can not guarantee these numbers will work with your remote, but it is worth a try.
The alternative choice, is to purchase the same remote that I have, which cost less than 10 dollars at Walmart.

The code is 10812
The code is 5 digits, not 4 as all the remote code references suggest.
