Cant get the cursor to show on screen

Make sure that your Sensor Bar is connected properly and that there is no damage to the wire connect it to the Wii.

You may have to place the Sensor Bar else where and reconfigure it to work again.

-Connect the Sensor Bar under Wii Console in the left menu.

Getting an error code 109139 how can i fix this ????

According to Nintendo it means your WiiConnect24 is not enabled.
"WiiConnect24 allows the console to receive downloads even when the console isn't in active use, as long as it has a working connection to the internet. The types of information that can be received include News and Weather, messages posted to the Wii Message Board, and any messages sent by Nintendo about new Wii console features."
Fix Problem: To Access the WiiConnect24 setting:
  1. Access the Wii System Settings (How To Shown Below)
  2. Move the cursor over the blue arrow on the right and and select it once to reach System Settings 2.
  3. Choose "WiiConnect24.

How to Access the System Settings

  1. With the Wii console properly connected, power on the console to reach the Wii Channel menu.
  2. Use the Wii Remote to move the cursor over the "Wii" button in the bottom-left corner of the screen and press the A Button.
  3. From the main Wii Menu and System Settings screen, use the Wii Remote to move the cursor over the "Wii Settings" option (wrench).settings.gif
  4. Press the A Button to enter the System Settings.

Hope This helps Giles102

Hello ,my Wii remote will not show cursor on t.v.

Make sure your sensor bar is plugged in, check the controller sensibility in the Wii options, while you're there check if you have the right position in the settings(above tv or below) and lastly, make sure you have clear line of sight between the wiimote and the sensor bar. If this doesn't fix it, then your sensor bar might be damaged and needs replacement.

Wii remote cursor not showing on screen

My only idea is to check the batteries in the sensor bar. Placement of the bar (above or below the TV) never had an impact on the cursor in my experience.

My wii remote cursor works fine until i get to the main menu of the new game i bought. the cursor doesnt show up. i tried hitting the remote and "bull whipping" it but its still not working.

make sure your wii controller is properly configured, go to your wii system settings and make sure all the settings are correct and your controller is properly configured. Your proximity to tho sensor bar also plays a role in this, dont get too close :)

Wii remotes wont show hand cursor on tbv screen

If using the Wii IR bar, ensure that it is plugged into the red socket in the back of the Wii and that the bar is setting on top of or below your TV. If you are using an aftermarket wireless IR bar, ensure that it has good batteries and is turned on.

Finally, be sure that you are standing about 3-5 feet away from the TV and aiming the Wii

Note that the buttons on the Wiimote are transmitted to the Wii console via Bluetooth, and the cursor position on the screen is based in the inputs from two IR (Infrared) lights that you can't see inside the IR Bar.

Good luck!

Wii remote cursor does not show on TV

Your remote's infrared receiver is broken. This is why the cursor / hand won't show up on the TV. The + and - buttons operate over bluetooth, which explains why they are still working.

If the remote is under warranty you should send it back to Nintendo to repair. If not, I suggest just buying another remote as it will cost more to repair than replace.
