It sounds like it is the fuser sleeve. The printer will not print without this. It must be replaced by a qualified tech.

I have a problem with 2280+ tallygencom printer. I have hardware alarm problem and with sense code +0001 +131 --- 000002 +2733 -0962 . Please help me . Thanks

The hardware alarm indicated is indicating a problem with print head movement.
This error can be indicated if there is any thing which may be preventing print head movement, things you can check include;

1)The printer ribbon is not jammed and is located correctly in the printer,
2)You can also check to ensure there is no paper jam of loose paper which may prevent print head movement,
3)You can also check the carriage shaft to ensure it is free from paper dust or any other obstructions.
4)Also clean the thin transparent timing strip next to the carriage shaft.
5)With the printer powered off, the print head should slide freely across the width of the printer, you can then see if there is any obstruction to the print head.

Thin strip pulled out of printer

if it's kinda skinny and has dots end to end, it is a critical peice of your printer, the machine will never print without it and your best off to replace the machine because they are pretty difficult to put back in on most machines.

Paper won't feed

If that long piece of transparent film has any visible lines in it like a ribbom cable then that is exactly what it is. I do not recall any piece like that acting as a dust cover or shield. You will need to disassemble the printer and take all the covers off. You probably only had a piece of paper stuck in there to begin with. Once the covers are off and you can see the platen the part that actually moves the paper through you will see what your problem is and be able to see where that transparent piece goes as well. God bless.

Small thin film fell out

Try to cut off a thin plastic strip. just try to copy that. it basically guides the cartridge on where to print. also i remember that it should have a spring connected to the holes.
