You have a problem MOST LIKLY!!, that happens to almost if, not to all projection tube sets ever made. Its the old bad convergence IC falure. It's not something you can do unless you have had exstensive electronic training and soldering skills. There are no user replaceable parts inside of this set so please call out a pro to repalce the convergence IC for yop! A repair such as this should cost around 250 to 400 bucks, depending where you live..Good Luck

You can find the owner's manual for this set online at: http://www.zenithservice.com/gcsc/b2c/hpi/main?tc=owm.command.OwmCmd It says that the BOTTOM four connectors are: 1. S-Video IN 2. Video IN 3. Audio (Right) IN 4. Audio (Left) IN Above the Audio IN connectors are two audio OUT connectors, which you could hook to external speakers, your stereo, etc. But these are not needed for hooking up your DVD player. From your DVD player, you need to hook up either the S-Video or Video connection (Video is typically the Yellow wire), plus the Audio connections (Red and White). If your DVD player has an S-Video output, this will give you a better picture than the standard Video connection. S-Video cables have a different plug, with four or five wires in the connector, and are keyed so they only fit into the socket in one orientation. Be careful to line it up properly and not force it in the wrong way.

maybe on your remote press menu and find converence and use the keys to move the red first over the green then move the blue over the yellow ..by standing back and just using the remote....should end up with white lines. and dont hit that button again once set. a tech should do this quickly and charge you minium.

SOURCE: Need code for zenith Televison
I don't know if you need the 3 or 4 digit code for your specific remote. I have found the site that provides the codes for your universal control.
If you have a 4-digit remote, it should be 0634
If you have a 3-digit remote, it should be 634
Zenith standard TV (there's a bunch)
3-digit: 000, 001, 004, 009, 023, 038, 039, 050, 058, 059, 064, 078, 091, 111, 121, 131, 134, 135, 136, 153, 226, 227, 245, 247, 252, 266, 288, 310, 338, 358
4-digit: 0121, 0009, 0050, 0078, 0091, 0138, 0059, 0131, 0038, 0111, 0134, 0153, 0064, 0004, 0135, 0226, 0227, 0245, 0247, 0252, 0266, 0288, 0310, 0338, 0358, 0023, 0058, 0039, 0001.

SOURCE: Zenith 44" LCD TV
The yellow spot is due to the BLUE LCD and/or lens assy cracked, reason, to much HEAT! The blue is the darkest color and hold the most heat, so it goes first, always! In some cases it’s only the lens, however most of the time LCD is damage to. Parts are available, however install and alignment is timely. Quick fix is the complete light engine, which for model# E44W46LCD is part# 3141VSN916C, which customer cost is $1,449.27, wholesale for about $1,065.21. Rebuilt, if you can find it around 850.00 to 950.00. However the rebuilt does not always look as good as factory. My advice, TRASH set. This part will fail again in about 3 to 4 years, unless you watch a lot of white video. Remember, on a black or dark picture, all three LCD are blocking 100% of the light, causing extreme heat within the light engine. It’s a bad design.
