Plug it to any USB ports in your computer if its using a USB cable. If its using an Ethernet cable it should be connected to your router's Ethernet port at the back.

How to connect a Ricoh Aficio 3228c to my computer as a printer

There should be different input and out put plugs on the printer somehwere. Like a fire wire plug or ehternet plug. Once you find the plug and cable, youll need to download the driver for the printer. You could just search your printer name and then driver on google.com.

If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/erik_3934b541f17c4e99

Power off printer, remove power plug from printer, remove usb cable from printer, pull out paper and check for jams, check toner cartridge, clean area underneath the toner cartridge head, uninstall printer from windows control panel, reboot computer, plug-in printer with a different working usb cable, plug in power to printer, power on printer, reinstall printer driver. All in those steps exactly. If that doesn't work I would say you have a bad printer on your hands.

How i do when my printer is no power

First make sure that the outlet where you are plugging in the printer has electricity. Unplug the printer and plug in a lamp or something else to see if the outlet has electricity. If it does not, then that is your problem.

If you do have power in the outlet, then plug the printer back in and make sure the printer cord is plugged in properly to the back of the printer.

If this does not help, then please send in the model number of the printer (it is on the machine) and we can continue to try to help.

Good luck...........................Pete

Cannot turn on the printer even if connections are ok ?

The only thing that could stop you from turning the printer on other than a broke printer is the power/power cord is not connected. The printer should turn on without a USB or parallel printer cable attached.

If no lights are showing when you try to power the printer, check the power connection in the back of the printer to ensure it is plugged in, check the plug into the adapter is connected and that the power cord's plug is connected to the wall outlet - if you have a power strip make sure it is turned on and the circuit breaker is not popped. Make sure that there is power to the outlet by plugging in something else to show it has power. If all of those check out ok and you have a meter, check for voltage at the power connector at the printer (pull the plug out of the printer and check voltage from inside the plug to outside the plug. It should be 18 vac.

If all of this is ok, there is something wrong inside the printer. Probably time for a new one as cost to repair is probably too high.

I have not printer software

IF IT'S A USB PLUG ON THE PRINTER THE PC SHOULD RECOGNISE THIS PRINTER(PLUG AND PLAY)WHEN YOU PLUG IN TO THE USB ON THE PC.I HOPE YOU KNOW WHAT A USB PLUG LOOKS LIKE,OTHERWISE IT'S GOING TO BE DIFFICULT EXPLAINING.IF THIS FAILS YOU NEED THE SOFTWARE DISC THAT COMES WITH THE PRINTER.YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE PDF FILE FROM THE PRINTER MANUFACTORERS WEBSITE.RUN THIS DISC IN YOUR PC AND IT WILL THEN RECOGNISE YOUR PRINTER.JOB DONE..REMEMBER SOME OPERATING SYSTEMS WON'T RECOGNISE THE PRINTER..

My Lexmark x9350 only turns on and off if I plug and unplug...

This, probably, is a power issue on the printer. Unplug the printer from the computer. Unplug the power supply from the printer (it's the black box behind the printer where the power cord is attached). Try not to use any power strips or extensions for the power cord. If possible, plug the power cord straight to the wall outlet. With the power cord plugged in straight to the power outlet, plug the power supply back in the printer. That should refresh the printer. When everything's powered on, plug printer to computer. Hope this helps. If you need more assistance, leave a comment and I'll get back to it. Thanks.

Samsung ML 2010 black and white laser printer is not read by any computer after proper installation of the hardware. During software installation, a window asks to plug in the printer and turn it on but...

Some printers require the driver to be loaded before connecting the printer.

Uninstall the driver and unplug the printer.
Reinstall the drive first, then plug in the printer when it asks for it.
