Look between each key, see if there is a foreign object stuck in the keys.
Look from the side of the laptop, check if all the keys are raised evenly acroos the rows.
Open Wordpad, if you can get into windows, then hit each key several times. you should be able to figure out which is the culprit.
The only other thing would b to take the keybd out and reseat the cable.

My Toshiba Tecra 9100 gives me an error message of PXE-E61: Media test failer, check cable. Then it says PXE-MOF: Exiting Intel PXE.ROM. It's asking for a system disk, but this was given to me and I don't...

The error message is caused by a failed hard disk. Replace that then borrow a Windows install disk from a friend and install with it and the key on the sticker.

HELP ME

UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME = the BIOS tries to load Windows and can't find it. Either the hard disk has died and must be replaced or Windows was completely corrupted by malware. In either case you must do a full reinstall and load a better antivirus,  and if it happens again you will know that the disk is dead, replace it.

Format the laptop

Several Problems.

First, sounds like you need to reinstall your operating system. Place your original system disk in. F8 to be sure that it starts from the CD. Be sure to "Press any key to start from CD". At that point you can either repair or reinstall your operating system. Repair will be not destructive to your data files. Reinstall will reformat your drive before reinstalling.

Your keys not working could be a number of things. A broken key requires keyboard repair or placement while dirt or grit can give the same symptoms. Try cleaning with the computer off...Blowing air around the problem keys. Be sure to use clean air, the canned stuff. Try not to blow the dirt under another key.

good luck

Need to reinstall my machine but don't have product key for laptop toshiba tecra A5

The product key should be on the bottom of your laptop.

For most Toshiba laptops tapping on the "zero" (0) at the toshiba splash screen on start up will start the "factory restore" process.

This process will not work if you have replaced or reformatted your hard drive.

I had a Thoshiba Tecra A3 Laptop nwhich is not loading OS

When you hear about the long beep it is a RAM problem which is not totally inserted. You need to check the RAM remove and reinsert it again and try to power on.

Toshiba qosmio E-10 noises keyboard and start up

Sound like you have a stuck key and the bip noise is the keyboard buffer pverloading.
If you can't unstick this key, you need a new keyboard.
