Make sure the oven is switched off.remove all trays etc from oven, remove 2 posidrive screws from bottom of fan plate, remove fan plate, the element is around the fan, remove 2 posi screws from where the element goes through the side of oven and the one screw that holds the top of the element to the back of the oven.slowly pull the element out and remove the 2 poz and neg spade connectors.refit as removed.

Diplomat ADP 5520 Stainless Steel Range not getting hot enough

The circular element that the fan sits behind heats the oven. Ensure the thermocouple is back in the right place. Too near the element and the oven will stay cool.
Circular elements can be pricey and fitting should cost no more than an hours labour.

I have a diplomat oven - i turned it on this afternoon and whilst the fan revolves there is no heat coming from it! i tried the grill and this works fine and heats up! what could the problem be pls??

It sounds like the oven element is blown and needs replacing. If the oven fan and the indicator light are coming on it will be the element or possibly a burnt off wire at the oven element terminals.

I have a Diplomat 600 fan assisted oven. When switched on, the fan can be heard running, but the oven does not heat at all. Any ideas please? Is this likely to be expensive to rectify?

Hi.
It is going to be a faulty oven element.
Remove the cover at the rear of the oven compartment, and see if there is a round heater element there, if there is, then it will be the element that needs to be replaced.
If no element there, then it will be either the top element of the oven , or rhe base element which is not visible, that is faulty.
If there is base element, then it can only be accessed from outside of the main oven by removing the outer panels, and is located at the bottom of the main oven.
Hope this helps.

I have a diplomat 4510 electric oven, the pilot light is constaintly on even when the oven is not on,the oven does not heat up, i recently replaced the element

If you have replaced the element, and it does not heat up, then I would suspect the thermostat as being the cause of the problem, more so if it is the oven pilot light that is on.
To be certain, you really need to see if you are getting a feed to the element when you you set the thermostat.
Hope this helps.

Replacing the element in a diplomat 5706 cooker

Hi.
You will probably have to remove the rear panel of the oven, this is on the outside that I am referring to, and you will see the 2 securing scews for the element, you might have to push the insulation to one side to see the screws.
This should solve your problem.
Please good feedback if this helps.
Thanks.
