Sorry to read about your problem, You have a major failure, I suggest you contact a service company. If you feel like making repairs yourself, i will give you some pointers below.

There are other variations depending on whether the cooling fan, oven light, and so forth are located down stream of the fuse.

Some models may have a separate high voltage fuse. If this is blown, there will be no heating but no other symptoms. However, high voltage fuses are somewhat rare on domestic ovens.
A number of failures can result in the fuse NOT blowing but still no heat:

  • Bad connections - these may be almost anywhere in the microwave generator or the primary circuit of the HV transformer. A common location is at the crimp connections to the magnetron filament as they are high current and can overheat and result in no or intermittent contact.
  • Open thermal protector - usually located on magnetron case. Test for continuity. It should read as a dead short - near zero ohms.
  • Open thermal fuse - some ovens have one of these in the primary circuit. It may be in either connection to the HV transformer or elsewhere. Test for continuity. It should read as a dead short - near zero ohms.
  • Open HV capacitor - see the section: A shorted HV capacitor would likely immediately blow the fuse.
  • Open HV diode - see the section:
  • Open magnetron filament - This failure may also be due to loose, burnt, or deteriorated press (Fast-on) lugs for the filament connections and not an actual magnetron problem.
  • Open winding in HV transformer.
  • Defective HV relay. A few models use a relay in the actual high voltage circuitry (rather than the primary) to regulate cooking power. This may have dirty or burnt contacts, a defective coil, or bad connections
  • Shorted HV diode -
  • Short or other fault in the magnetron - see the section:
  • Short in certain portions of the HV wiring.

What material is usually used to transfer heat around central heating systems?

Water. Water is a good conductor of heat. The boiler heats the water, a pump circulates it around the system and through the radiators where it loses heat. Cooler water returns to the boiler for re-heating.

The microwave is not heating the food.

When it did heat food before and you used the same settings now, the microwave must be defect.
But before you are sure, put a cup with water in the micro and try to heat that.
Dry food can't be heated in a microwave. There must be some moist in the food if you want to heat it in the microwave.

Oster microwave OM1101NOE wont heat carosel turns light is on time runs but not heat

There are three things to consider, the magnetron "heats food" high voltage diode "sometimes cracks" and the high voltage capacitor "sometimes shorts" one or more can cause the symptom of no heat. I recommend a professional to assess.

I dont know how to use induction cooker.it has no numbers to reduce the heat.things will burn very fast

You can use to set the timing in order of the heat required. Also using the grade rating of the heating coupled with the time set, the food can be easily heated without burning.
To start with use low heat and long time, the try with medium heat and lesser time and then choose high heat and short time. You must be able to use the settings accordingg to your requirement.
Hope this advice helps

Dishwasher is running through cycles ok but water is not heating so only cold cycles.

Hi

The water is not heating as the heating element has gone bad or a fuse has blown which is preventing heating element to turn on. To check the heating element you'll need to turn off the dishwasher, unplug it. After unplugging it check the heating element formineral deposit on it, clean the deposits using a soft brush and a cleaning solution(Don't scrub the elemnt hard). If this doesn't resolves the issue then remove the panel and examine all the wirin connections to the heating element. Now, use a multimeter and check for the resistance reading(ohms, Rx1) for the heating element. The multimeter should display between 1200-1600 ohms or 1.2K ohms. If it is less than 1200 then you'll need to get the heating element replaced. Also, check for any blown fuse around the element. This should resolve your issue.

Thanks

Daniel

Doesnt heat up

in a microwave, there is no heating element. There are microwaves that heat up the water molecules, they make them spin fast and that's what heats things up. Running it with nothing in it, you really can tell if it's not working by that test either, again, nothing to heat up. I would put in a cup of water, set on high for 3 minutes and it should boil, if not, get a new one for the price, why mess around?

GH7145XFB-1 not heating properly

Generally, the most common causes of a failure to heat are:

- bad door switches or door switch mounts
- loose connection at the magnetron
- problem or loose conneciton on the control unit circuit board
- bad magnetron or other high voltage part

If you or a friend decide to look into it, we have critical safety information, info on door switch diagnosis and replacement, and disassembly information at our site, linked here on Fixya: http://tinyurl.com/yzjozk
