Hello,
You should check the make and model of your computer, go to themanufacturer's website, look for solutions, support and drivers ordownload the audio driver.
Also check for an installation CD from the manufacturer with the necessary drivers, if there is only install.
Another way is to download the klite mega codec pack, becausethe PC may not contain the driver and codecs.

I hope you helped.

Hello,
Have you installed the driver for it? Look for the DVD that came with it and install it. After installing the driver, update it. You can use RadarSync to automate the updating process of your computer.

Check your audio section in bios, if it is enabled then boot the computer and go to control panel and there you have to select "sound and audio devices", now click sound button on the screen and play the windows sound given on the screen your play button will be activated after you select the windows sounds,

If it works then ok else you have to uninstall your sound driver and reinstall the perfect driver for the laptop model

i think it's not neccisarily a problem with your motherboard, i think it is a problem with the drivers or firmware of your motherboard...i would search online for the specific motherboard type and find the drivers...if possible. then try finding the firmware as well. hope this helps.
