It may be due to network lock,
you can check it with other sim card ,if it remains the same problem ,it may be locked to particular network wont accept any sim card other than the particular network ,you can unlock it and used to other network, try here http://www.wickedunlock.com/lg-cu915-vu/rs11wp9/

SIM CARD:

If you enter a wrong PIN code too many times, usually three, your SIM will lock itself. This protects you from someone using your personal information or making calls if your cell phone is lost or stolen. You may see "PIN blocked" or Enter PUK code" on your cell phone display. The PUK code stands for PIN Unblocking Key. In the U.S., the PUK code is rarely provided when you get your subscription.

If you do not have your PUK code, contact the Customer Care customer again. Give them your phone number and once they are sure it is really you, they will give you the PUK code.
You will then be asked to set a new PIN code. Once you have your PUK be sure to keep it in a safe place.

Note that if you enter a wrong PUK 10 times in a row, the SIM will be permanently blocked, and you'll need to purchase a new SIM card.

Blackberry solution for mep code (0 left) This is the solution for anyone have mep code 0 left in his handset that no attemt balance for enter code. 1. Please install black berry desktop manager....

That method will not work, wanna bet? The only way to reset mep code is doing cable unlock in your phone. This method not only reset your mep counter but also unlock blackberry bold 9700 network so you can use any of your sim card without need to buy blackbery unlock code again.

I have my 9700 black berry bold my sim card asking about PUK code and i cannot open the services cuz is lock can u help me pleas

Puk means personal unlocking key with unique eight digit code..
It can be obtained from your sim card documents..
If you dont have one then call for the sim service provider and tell the right information of the sim card holder..
They will verify for the info and provide you the puk code..
Please note that you can try 10 attempts to find the puk code..
If the 10th attempt fails your sim card will be blocked and you need to buy a new one..
Thank you for using fixya..
Please rate me on fixya to continue my further assistance..

I have changed from nokia to blackberry bold. all my contacts on sd card - how can I import them to the blackberry contacts

You have the easiest option to copy all your contacts to your sim card and then copy it back to black berry. In order to do this you simply have to go to your phone book options and in the settgings you will find copy contacts to sim and then put the same sim in black berry and select copy contacts from sim.If your contacts are more than the capacity of your sim then you can select the contacts to copy and you have to do this twice or thrice depending on your sim's memory.

It might be a hardware issue now. Dropping the device might have caused physical damage. I recommend getting the device replaced by your insurance if you have it.

you have to take both simcards to a nextel shop and they can switch all your contacts to the new one and they can also send any ringtones that you have as well
