Resolution:
  1. Turn off the printer.

Error 6000

If you're gettting the message "Canon printer error 6000," it may be related to a LCD error, so to fix it reset the printer by pressing the ON/OFF button.
It can also be related to a paper jam, so check for that and if you have had one and cleared it, make sure there is no paper left inside. Once this is done, again reset the printer

Printer error has occurred 6000

Error 6000 gets displayed when there is a paper jam or other general malfunction. When the message "6000 Printer error has occurred. Turn off the printer then back on again. If the problem persists, see the manual." Is displayed, something may block the paper feed tray from opening.
If the printer is surrounded with documents or when you copy large documents such as books, make sure that you secure the clear space in front of the tray before printing / copying. When the error message above is displayed and if you find something is in front of the tray, remove it. Then, turn OFF the printer and back ON again and the printer will be ready for printing.
If you still have the trouble, contact the repair service.

Check the printer for any paper jam or try to reset the printer to release memory code errors.

1. Press and hold the Resume button for 1 - 2 minutes.
2. Open the cover.
3. Remove the cartridge and then reinstall it.
4. Close the cover.
5. Turn Off the printer.
6. Turn On the printer.

Pixmax mp620 error 6000

Have you checked for paper jamm in the rollers or any other small item like a paper clip? Also are you running this on wired or wireless connection?

unplug the printer, turn it upside down and shake a little. If a tiny piece of paper could be to blame.

Printer was making odd noise and now is giving a "Error 6000" message even after turning it off

Error 6000 is a line feed error, it means the platen roller isn't advancing properly. It usually means something has fallen in from the back where the paper goes and is stop moving of rollers.
