Hi, I am having the same problem.I am thinking of bringing it to a B&O repair centre but if you found a solution, I am very interested to hear it.

I had a similar problem with my 2300. But upon close examination to the very thin flat top part of the CARRIER BLOCK (which is the plastic wedge into which the glass door mounts slot in to) and which are situated at the ends of each cable travel, had a very thin hair line crack along it, which when in use restricted normal door travel. A very light dab of superglue, followed by a 30 minute wait and a re-attachment of the offending glass door has solved the problem for me. The moral of this story.... Perhaps it's not best to keep removing the glass doors for cleaning, as I for one (being a design engineer), can't understand why such thin plastic was used for Form, Fit and Function, unless it was in B & O's financial interests to do so....

Drivers side window will not go completely airtight when up.drops and goes up when door opens and shuts, but not high enough to seal correctly

My 02 had this same problem, the glass has shifted position in the mechanism. You will need to take the inner door card off to get at the mechanism, lower the glass about half way then reach through the large opening in the door panel to feel for the large 'cog' shaped retaining bolts that hold the glass to the mechanism (one either side, both facing the outer door skin). A 5mm torx or allen key bit is required to loosen both 'cogs'. You can then adjust the glass position. This is possibly best done with two people...once the glass is loose, make sure you move the glass first to break the seal (it may have stuck to the rubber seal over time, so will not move much), then gently tighten into place, raise the window to the full up position, shut the door fully, then with the help of an assistant, one inside the car one outside, move the glass into the desired place and tighten the cogs. Open the door, fully lower and fully raise the glass, then keep the switch in the up position for 5 seconds, this teaches the ECU the new position. Check that the window closes when you open and close the door, if not, try adjusting the glass angle with the adjustment screws located at the very bottom of the door. When in the right position, you should just be able to pull a sheet of paper past the glass and the seal. Boom, done!

I have a beosound century and whenever the glass door opens, it makes a ticking sound. I think it is something to do with the cassette dock. Please help.

This mechanism has overload coupling inside. When mechanical overload occurs the coupling may klick. Else doors are jamming so coupling is set too low. Check doors and if they are easy look at coupling - it has spring and screw adlustment at center of linkage drive whell.. I don't know Your model but in Ouverture it is easy to reach. But don't try if you are not experienced (You didn't damage minimum 10 sets in life :).

Bang & Olufsen BeoSound 2000 door doesn't open (disconnected)

Push the door to the left this normally engages the door to the mech.it is designed to detach if the door is jammed or too stiff to move.Cleaning of the guide rail and door carrier is usually the cure.this can only be done properly be removing the central cd clamper and control panel assy.
