Solution: Reset the unit-ICMF 5500/5700

Reset the unit

  1. Open the front cover.
    sytem error e000 - open_front_cover.gif


  2. Close the front cover.
  3. Unplug unit for 3-5 minutes, then plug the unit back in.

Error e000 - error with fixing unit. Try to disassemble printer, remove fixing unit. Check heater element's and thermal sensor's impedance. Check connectors.

hi just cheq fuser unit may be heater lamp or thermal fuse broken or may be bad thirmistor if all are gud may u have put yours copier on wrong power example if yours copier is 220v and you have putin 110v

A E000 coeds means the error history has detected any one of the following error codes 4 times :E001;E002;E003.
The error can be cleared in the service mode.

E000 is a fixing unit failure...either the thermistor or fixing lamp failed. Not sure about individual part replacement, most likely needs entire unit replaced....then reset the code.

E000 error is due power surge or electrical fault within the copier. you can clear the error in service mode.

How to reset error code E000 on IR2000


E000: Fuser did not heat up. check Fuser lamp, check thermistor, check thermostat, if this parts ok try to reset the trouble code. to reset fuser errors, first shut power off and turn on again. Then, go to service mode. Select "User mode" by pressing additional function ( * ) key then Press "ID" key ( # ) on user mode screen. Select menu 7 using cursor key. Press "OK" key. Select 4 item with cursor key. Press "OK" key. Printer reset. YES=( * ) to clear fuser error code E000.
