Question about Televison & Video
Use the remote and recall the on screen menu. Check if the lines also affect the on screen menu, or only the video signal. If the problem is affecting the menu, then it is either DMD board or digital video processing in main controller board. If the problem does not affect the on screen display menu, then it is the input, the connected device, the internal tuner, or the terminal input board on TV.
I can be more specific by knowing TV make and model, and by getting a more detailed description of the problem (most common symptom is horizonthal rotating bands).
