No. It is not a networkable unit. That's why they made the E-series

Why can't i turn on ray marine c120

Hi my son has a Raymarine that would not sw on as I am a Baggy tech I pulled the unit down and located the fault to the front panel.

Due to the ingress of salt water.

Before you start to repair this unit a clean workbench /containers for screws /good lights--no kids /dogs --pests(beer) use a felt tip pen and mark cables do not force out use care as the cables are of a printed type

Where I found salt water corrosion on the printed circuit board

remove front cover screws on the back of unit Clean down all salt laden areas with cotton buds and mix 40% metho 10% duco thinners and the rest warm water and dry off

Use a magnifier to locate the corrosion on the tracks on and behind the switches gently scrape the old pale green paint off expose good copper and test back to a terminal for continuity and then solder fine fuse wire along the tracks copper to copper with a 15watt iron not too much heat then temp assemble and test from one end of track to the other.

If all good then look for any more corrosion and fix this too then seal the pcb with a clear lacquer or a thin smear of epoxy ,you will find that the seal that is on the outer casing is suspect and of poor design and it may need a smear of some butyl mastic so it can be removed later also before you do this. With your hot soldering iron reform the screw holes on the case as the brass nuts will pull out as the plastic is of poor quality and deteriorates with age.

This should apply to all Raymarine units.

Hi I have a raymarine c120,dose the hiden electronic compass have a reset button, when following a track on screen im am traveling sideways or a stern,,,do I need a new one or reset,??

Do you have the display configured for "heading up"? If it's "north up" then the map orientation will be fixed and your heading will change. Look at the softkeys under "presentation". The C120 doesn't have a hidden electronic compass; it uses the heading from the GPS (which will wander around when you are stopped). If you have a Raymarine autopilot it will provide compass heading to the C120.

Even after double checks on settings Iam still getting weak echos on Raymarine E120 radar. On higher ranges picture is non existant. Where could my problem be?

How old is the radar antenna? When the echos are weak that is a sign of a failing or weak magnetron. Have you gone into the system diagnostics page to read what the signal strength of the radar is?

We lose fix info. on the c120and the Auto pilot has no display. The problem is intermittent

This sounds like a problem with the receiver. If you can not get GPS fix (sometimes) you will have to start looking at the GPS antenna and cable. If the unit is new check out the location of the antenna. As with anything that works with satellites it need a clear view of the sky to fix onto the "birds". A GPS connects to numerous "birds" at a time, so ensure that the antenna has a wide angle view of the sky. If it is old you will have to start looking for connection problems. This is usually the case when the fault is intermittent. Check for possible water damage and loose or less than adequate connections. Also ensure the cable is in a good condition.

I can't access dsm reset through fishfinder menu, it keeps saying no data source and I can't scroll down!

Check that there is power available at the DSM. Then verify that the DSM connector cable is correctly connected between the DSM and the C120. Finally, be sure that you have the most recent software version installed ( V 4.29). If all of that fails to bring back the DSM, try a factory reset. You accomplish this by holding down the first softkey while powering up the display. Hold the softkey until the reset countdown ends and the display begins to reboot. Be aware that a factory reset will delete any waypoints, routes, etc. so be sure to back upp anything important.

Need power supply cable raytheon v850

Anything Raytheon is going to be tough now since it is no longer supported by Raymarine. You may still be best to start by calling Raymarine's tech dept to see what they say. If no luck, your next best try is probably EbaY.

Raymarine looses GPS fix

A software upgrade will do a world of good for the unit, however it may not take care of your GPS fix issue. Usually when you have satellites showing and no fix, that indicates a bad antenna. Check the LED indicator on the antenna, it should be green. The RS125 has a connector plug on the antenna end so it is nice and easy to buy a new one and give it a try. The software is free and a good start.....and yes you need to do a reset after the upgrade by holding the first soft key as you power on the unit. It will give you a factory reset countdown. Simply hold that soft key until it is done and begins the reboot.
