SOURCE: my dimplex night storage heater has stopped working.

...not too sure of your model but all dimplex heaters to my knowledge have an 'overload' cut out built into the system. Ours is more up to date but still goes now and then, problem is you have to get into the electrics and click the reset button, normally near or on the thermostat it's self, could be a small white plastic button, or a piece metal sticking up that needs pressing down to reset...but please before attempting make sure that you TURN OFF THE ELECTRIC / REMOVE THE FUSE/ WHAT EVER IT TAKES TO CUT ANY CHANCE OF AN ELECTRIC SHOCK!!!...because I can and will get you if it can ;-)... if your not a competent electrician please get hold of one !... good luck.

SOURCE: Hi, Last night none of the Dimplex storage

Hi,
It may be that the off peak to your house has failed to switch on, possibly due to the off peak time switch in your meter cupboard not working, I suggest you contact your local electricity board and ask them to check your off peak supply

I would suggest that the element may have absorbed some mloisture whilst being left in storage for a period of time. You may need to take it to a local repairer to see if they can dry out the element.

If there is moisture in the element it is not safe to use, hence it trips your circuit breaker.

Are you using the remote? Are the batteries good. Other than that, you will need an electrician if you get nothing from it at all.

Fire was working fine, then flame effect stopped. Heater still works on both settings, but no flame effect. Tried new bulbs, but still no flame effects, any ideas?

If it is not the bulbs, it is often a melted switch or circuit board.

Flame effect dimmed on my dimplex stockbridge stove

You most likely have a couple light bulbs burned out. Refer to your owner's manual on how to access the bulb area, and replace with the appropriate watt bulbs. Most Dimplex stoves use standard incandescent 60w bulbs, a few use halogen. This is often annual maintenance.
If you can't find your manual, you can request one to be emailed to you from Dimplex, their service line is:

Is it cheaper to leave my heaters on?

It works both ways if you are home it will give a constant heat , but is it safe in your place to leave it on while you are out .
Once they are hot they should cut out on the thermostat thus costing less to run .

Cord on electric heater gets very hot

I've seen a couple different models of portable electric space heaters do this. These things draw A LOT of power - anywhere from 1000 to 1800 watts! Some models were built with an undersized cord for the job. It's simply too small, and overheats as a result. This is an unsafe condition. Stop using this heater, and repace the cord with the correct gauge wire.

Dimplex heaters CHB20BR owners manual how to change the light bulbs?

Changing the bulbs in your model is quite different than changing the ones in a full electric fireplace. Yours requires a bit more dismantling and removal of parts. So, I have provided a link to the Owner's Manual just in case you have misplaced yours. What you need to know is on Page 14 of the manual.
For future reference, I suggest that you download and print the manual. Then keep it in a safe, accessible place.

Does dimplex model 6902340100 have a fuse, stopped working no fan, no light took back panel off could not find a visable fuse.

My friend just had the same problem. It turned out to be the Remote Control box,( the little box you plug the Fireplace into so you can use the Remote). He just plugged the Fireplace straight into the wall outlet, (without the Remote) and now it works fine.
