How would I share data with other phones using my Bluetooth after pairing with the other phone.

pair cell phone to computer.

Turn on bluetooth in cell phone settings.
May need to set cell phone blue tooth to allow devices to discover it.

Go into computer settings for blue tooth
Search for Devices .

Then once paired.
Look at files in Cell phone.
Should be a share option for files
Then Share via Bluetooth .

3 Enter the numeric code that appears on your GM control panel screen into your phone and continue the pairing process. While pairing, your phone will share your contact information with your GM to enable the Caller ID on the dash screen to work.

4 Confirm successful pairing by making a phone call. Make calls using your GM's voice activation, which is done by pushing the "Phone" button on your steering wheel. You can also dial from your phone's keypad and the sound will transfer to your GM's speakers.

Go to MENU>MANAGE APPS> & click on "ALL" @ the top of the page.

Scroll down to the 'BLUETOOTH SHARE' app,click on it,then click the CLEAR DATA button.

Be aware that doing this will more than likely wipe all of your other BLUETOOTH data out as well,& you'll have to re-pair your new device to the phone.

How to pair and then connect to a Bluetooth device on your T-Mobile G1 Google smartphone.
1. First, ensure Bluetooth is enabled.
2. From the Home screen, press Menu.
3. Select Settings.
4. Select Wireless controls.
5. Select Bluetooth settings.
6. The G1 starts searching for Bluetooth devices in range. Select the device when it appears.
7. Type the PIN for the device.
8. The device should then pair with the G1. You can then select the device name to connect.
Bluetooth only supports ad2p profiles for headsets, music, and sharing of contacts and pictures. This is limited by VZ. Until the phone is rooted, there is absolutely no way around this. You cannot send files other than contacts and pictures via bluetooth.

It sucks... I know. I am in the same boat. I am [im]patiently waiting for the droid to be rooted so I can use bluetooth to share files between two droids.

Using USB...

On the phone, goto Start, Programs, choose internet sharing. On the computer, make sure that activesync doesn't think it is connected, and plug in a mini-usb cable into the phone. After a moment, Windows should detect the new "network connection" and take over from there.

Using Bluetooth,

Open the bluetooth manager. Setup a partnership with the phone (pairing). Once done, goto properties for the partnership, and check "enable network capability' or similar. On the phone, goto Internet Connection Sharing, and switch from USB to Bluetooth. Note, you phone needs to be paired with the computer already.

(II) Do you have in your programs or settings a icon called Internet Sharing?
If so please connect to active sync first and then select the internet sharing icon.
Active sync will disconnect and your laptop will start using your phone as the modem.
