a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

SOURCE: Hello, I have a 96 Audi
You will need to contact the Audi dealer to obtain the radio code. Each radio has it's own code for theft prevent and usage if the radio is ever stolen. There is no generic code, otherwise, the radio code for theft prevention would be useless. You will need to provide proof of ownership of the vehicle before Audi presents this code to you. Usually the radio code is provided on a card with the vehicle, and is inserted into the owners manual. I'm assuming at this point, the car has been misplaced or discarded.

SOURCE: Hi Are you able to
The only way I know of is to try the following -
Press and hold the "Select" button until the Setup display appears
Press "Select" until beep appears on the screen.
Rotate the dial so it says "Off"
Press and hold the "Select" button. The menu should now exit
That should fix it for you.
Hope this helps.
