Kenmore Refrigerator Ice Maker

There is a 'black rubber hose' that comes out from the top of the freezer that water comes out of to produce the ice cubes for the ice maker... water is constantly dripping from that hose which causes major havoc in my freezer, frozen water everywhere because it doesn't want to stop leaking... sometimes my freezer is frozen shut.
What do I have to do?

it sounds like your inlet water valve is not closing all the way,pull frig out turn water off,remove valve get model number from inside the frig. and replace it,let me know-mike
