I would make a copy of your address book and simply download a fresh copy from ; http://www.apple.com/safari/download/ , all of your contacts will stay the same and email records will still be there.
Seems to me to be an easy way of restoring the default settings without having to fiddle about with extra settings
Or
Find Safari in your programme store and make a new short cut.
Hope that helps.

Just download the Safari installation file from Apple, copy it to a USB thumb drive, carry it over to your Macbook Pro with the problem, and run the installation file.

Why won't msn.com load in Safari?

Hi, Like the message says, your browser is not entirely supported.
I would suggest you, to download chrome for Mac or Firefox and try.
It is always a good idea to have at least two browsers on your computer.
Hope it helps,

How do i enable popups in SurgeWeb?

Hi, not sure about this app, but if it is web based, I will assume it runs on Safari. Have you enabled popups in Safari? Also, I would try with another browser like Chrome or Firefox. Make sure you are not running any 3 rd party popup blockers!
For future reference, it help us to know a bit more about your Mac, like what OS X is running and Safari version, if it is updated, etc.

Alex

Safari Reset

The Safari web browser stores a large amount of information as a result of your browsing. This not only includes cache and cookies but also saved names and passwords, download history, search keywords, browsing history and more. There is a very quick and painless way to remove all of these things and return your Safari browser to its default state. Before doing this, please be sure that you definitely want all of this information to be erased.

Difficulty: Easy

Time Required: Less than 1 Minute

Here's How:

1. Open your Safari web browser by clicking on the Safari icon in the dock.

2. Click on Safari in your Safari menu, located at the top of your screen.

3. A drop-down menu will now appear. Choose the option labeled Reset Safari....

4. A warning dialog will now appear detailing the items that will be removed.

5. Click the button on the dialog labeled Reset to complete the process.
Your Safari browser will now restart automatically.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response

Thanks, Joe

Facebook will not load

Download the mac version of opera browser and see if that fixes the problem.
If it does, then simply use that or re-download safari from Apple's site.

I cannot connect my macbook pro to the internet im totaly lost and need help.

You might try the following solutions (probably in this order):

Reset Safari (Click Safari at the top left, click Reset Safari, and make sure all the boxes are checked. NOTE: This will erase any autofill information you have stored as well as your browsing history.)

Check your Date & Time. (If the date and time on your system is more than a few hours off of the actual time, your wireless router may not allow the computer to authenticate to the internet. If your Date & Time is incorrect, you can fix it by going to System Preferences and clicking Date & Time.

Try reinstalling Safari. (You can download it for free from this link Since you obviously cannot do this directly from your macbook, you may need to download it onto your iMac, then move it over on a flash drive or via target mode.)

Try reinstalling the OS. (Reinstalling the entire operating system may fix the problem. You will want to back up at least your home folder(s) (user folders) before doing so. If possible, you may try an archive and install first, but this will only work if you have enough space on your hard drive to copy your user folders and then delete them. To archive and install, click options on the bottom left corner of the window before you install from the system discs.)

Wish it works ;)

Try dragging these files to the trash:
User/Library/Preferences/
moz-screenshot.pngcom.apple.Safari.plist
com.apple.Safari.LSSharedFileList.plist
com.apple.Safari.RSS.plist
or just trash the application Safari, and re download it, here:
