Wife has a mp826 4g last night at work she said it got hot and stopped working i charged it and used thereset and still does not work! ?????

It's likely that the hardware got fried from overworking itself and has shut down to protect itself. Wait a day to see if it will work again. If not,then the hardware is damaged and you will unfortunately have have to find a store to repair it or buy another one or get a different one.

Your year--make--model didn't post for some reason? That info would help?
Make sure battery has a full charge and all battery connections good, follow the voltage, use a test lite.
Check voltage at fuses, some are hot all the time, some go hot with the key on.
Also, check your charging system.

if out of warranty you can try a simple "fix" . some microwaves are made with a simple fuse on the inside of casing- should be able to remove cover with 4-6 screws and then locate fuse- DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING ELSE! If in doubt replace the whole thing.

PS- if dusty inside ,use canned air(for computers or cameras)

My i pod is not been detected by any charging get very hot when connected to usb ...last time before dis problem it showed red light when it was connected to my bed speakers...nd den it...

If you are trying to charge it, then leave it connected to your computer all night or day, then if that still does not work, you may need a new usb connector for the ipod
