Hit "bake" or "broil" button and temp setpoint


Hi

This Error indicates a loose/broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the oven temp. sensor itself is bad and should be replaced. To solve this issue test the oven temp. sensor, it should read between 1080-1120 ohms, if the rating is more then that and the door appears to be closing fine then it is the control board that is bad and should be replaced. I am getting the message "Ink System has failed. Unable to print. Refer to printer documentation. Error:0xc18a0001." I have tried to shut it down and back on and it's still not working -...


1. Get the unit into the "Support Menu" by following the steps below according with the product,


A. - Press and hold the "left arrow" key.

B. - Press the "Setup" key and release both keys.

Display should say "Enter Special Key Combo"

C. - Press and release the "OK" button


2. Press and release the right arrow button until the display says "System Configuration Menu". (on C8100 use Touch Screen)

3. Press and release the "OK" button.

4. Display should say "Hardware failure status". If not there already, Arrow Key over to "Hardware failure status",

5. Press and release the "OK" button.

6. Display should say "Hardware failure status: Clear. Press OK to clear".

7. Press and release the "OK" Button. Message changes to "Hardware failure status Cleared. Press Cancel to continue".

8. Press and release the "CANCEL" button as many times as necessary, so that, either the "Welcome to Photosmart Express" screen appears, or, the "Ink System Failure" screen appears. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO PRINT AT THIS STAGE.

9. Using the Power Button, turn the unit OFF and unplug the power cable from back of the printer and wall outlet.

14. If the error is still there, or reoccurs replace the unit.

Sounds like you have a evaporator fan motor. That is what the error code you have indicates, the fan blade could be stalled to.

Fridge temp will not drop to set temp


if you have had a sudden power failure or power spike, you may need to reset the fridge. This can be done by holding down the power freeze button and the fridge temp button together for about 5 seconds. The fridge display will go blank. press the buttons together again, the fridge display should return and both fridge and freezer should be reset

Inputing Scientific Numbers


If you mean using the "EE" key it's straightforward.

To enter scientific numbers, enter the number, then press EE, then the exponent value. The TI-30XA will stay in scientific display until you "clear" or turn it off. It will also switch to scientific notation if you multiply big numbers that exceed the display.

E.g. Input 3, EE, 10, X, 3, EE, 10, =, gives you the answer 9 times 10 to the power 20. Press the "square root" key and you will get back 3 times 10 to the power 10.

You can mix entries too, e.g. 3, EE, 10, X, 2, =, gives you 6 times 10 the power 10....

This sounds like the power failure tweaked the computer inside the machine. It is just like a regular computer when it comes to power failures.

If it has a reset button push that. If not, find the fuse in the fuse box which controls the dishwasher and throw that for a few minutes, reboot the thing.

There can also be damage to the computer in the dishwasher from the power failure.

Lastly, there is a reset sequence for each of these computer but it varies by the manufacturer. On my Kenmore, it is 1)Press HI temp, 2) press Heated Dry, 3)Hi Temp, 4) Heated dry. Then wait for all of the lights to go on and most of them to go of. At that point press cancel. Others involve pressing Sani Rinse and high temp. Some random button pushing is in order, luck is with you.
