Unable to receive music from pc

Ive got a 2g memory card in my phone but when i send music from my pc it wont send. i first thought it was a problem with pc but it sends to other makes of phone. ive contacted nokia & they told me to take the phone to the nearest nokia care point. it has always worked well in the past. i am wondering if ive unintentionally changed settings on phone?

It might be a pairing problem,or the drivers of the cable were not installed properly if u used the data cable to transfer songs.. one more thing to be specific if u cud tell me that u simply copy and paste the songs opr do u use the MUSIC MANAGER in the pc suite?and im sure wat the CARE guys probably did... they must have formatted ur fone and gave back tou withing 2 days and VOILA!!!! ur issue resolved...

no no darcy, u dont have to format ur card at all..infact formatting ur card is not required..u sed that u right click ur music folder on ur pc,so make sure that its belo 2GB cuz it will always give u and error as when u simply rite click the song/folder,it initially goes to ur phone memory which is less than 45MB.u can do one thing,u can

    1) re-pair ur fone wtih ur pc from scratch, like u did it for the first time and then try sending the songs but not too much of them, what i mean is that dont send 100 songs at one time, try sending 10 to 15 songs at a time (with average size of 4MB each),so it will take less time to transfer in ur phone, then u have to open them in ur inbox and then save to ur memory card, ull get a message on screen to SAVE SONG NOW. OR

    2) download the NOKIA PC SUITE from nokia website acc to ur fone model and then u can use the connection manager in pc suite to pair ur fone with ur pc..then in that case the benefit would be that u can direclty access ur memory card and the simply copy and paste i.e save the songs in any folder u want in ur memory card.

Try these steps and then do lemme know u got through or not..and hey dont forget to rate me.. [:)]

okhey so darcy wat i feel is dat u shud get ur fone checked cuz it can b a possibilty dat the blutooth in ur fone has gone bad or there's some circuitery problem with it.. it some times happen when the fone falls to ground or even when ur transfering files from an unreliable source.. BUT it's only a possibility dat it has gone bad so wat i'd recommend is dat u shud get it check through the fone care.. it wud be the best option rather than going here n there.

Ive just put a 2gb memory card into my phone my friend tried sending me some music but it keeps saying memory full its connecting alright by bluetooth.

Most likely, you need to set up your phone so that it stores the data received via Bluetooth on your memory card, not on the phone. It should be under Bluetooth or Data settings.

I cant send music files to it via bluetooth it keeps telling me to delete memory and now ive deleted everything and it still wont let me send music files via bluetooth. I have a nokia navigator 6110

make sure that all of the files that you have sent before via bleutooth was move on your memory card.take a lokk at your phone memory on how much is the free space.because once you transfer file via bluetooth it uses your phone memory. check your inbox outbox and myfolders.delete or move the files that is in there.then try to send via bluetooth again.hope I explained it well.

I have a 2G memory card for my phone and need to know how to copy music to it with my computer.

two methods:

Buy a USB card reader and put the music on the memory card, then plug it back into the phone.

or use a USB cable that may have come with your phone. Hook it to your PC or Mac, then drag and drop the music over to the phone.

Can't save music to external memory

ive been trying for ages to do this and its so easy but no one seems to be explaining it easy! Your phone without the memory card only holds one or two songs. you must have songs in there for it to say memory full. Go to this song press options , file, move to extrenal. Now try and send a song through bluetooth. You will be able to recieve it now you have freed up spave on the phones own memory. Remember to save it to external straight away so u can recieve the next item. Easy peasy!

Back up first files on your memory card on your computer. then format the memory card on the pc. Then put back the formatted memory card and format it again on the phone. Take out your memory card then put it back again on your pc to copy your previous files. This should work.

Memory cards need also formatting same as HDD's

Hope this helps...
