Washer Problem I have the same problem as listed above my Whirlpool Cabrio at only a little over a year old Flashes "LD" - meaning too long to drain. everything looks fine that it told me to check. I feel like it's a computer problem or what a friend suggested the "wigwag". how do i find the right repair man and how do i know if it's under warranty?

I have the same problem. My washer keeps flashing the ld and beeping. The repair man came out and says the pump needs to be replaced. I've had him order the part but after reading this I realize I need to ask him what happens if he changes the pump and the problem continues (before I pay)!! I also have a high pitched noise that drives me crazy and the repairman said its the valve. I'm having the valve and pump replaced and my boyfriend says I'm nuts. I am having the same issue for a while now . my machine starts flashing LD when 16 minutes remain for the cycle .. i have to switch it to rinse and drain for completing the wash cycle. I purchased the machine from LOWES a year ago.
