SOURCE: Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard

Normal 0 Press the Receiver button (and the lights will start flashing.
Then if the Keyboard isn't working, press the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the board to connect the keyboard to the receiver.

If the MOUSE isn’t working, push the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the mouse to connect to the receiver. Then they should work okay.
Hope this helps. Bud

SOURCE: Logitech wireless usb mouse not working

just see the bottom side of the receiver. you will fin a hole. clean the hole by blowing in the air. if this didnt work lust open the receiver(be careful not to break it, use plastic card or credit card on the side to open the hooks) and put 2 drops of white petrol on that part and leave it for one minute, then wipe it with cotton.

cheers...

Maybe some internal component is broken. try to connect the mouse to another computer and see if it works. If not, you should replace it.

SOURCE: M305 Logitech Wireless mouse with nano stopped working on Laptop

This is a difficult one to answer so lets go through it.
You have a M305 thatrefuses to work and your OS says is returning an error.
You've quite rightly checked the Logitech site and found out that it appears to be a common fault as many people are reporting the same issue.
Logitech have not resolved the issue.

All the above are valid reason for retun to the vendor for replacement/refund.

However you WANT to replace a M305 (a model with know issues) with ANOTHER M305 which will have the same issues as Logitech have not resolved the problem.

I will have to think long and hard before giving a definative reply.

How do i fix logitech mouse

No lights of any kind? First, make sure the battery is put in correctly. It is easy to get them backwards and absolutely nothing will happen. I had a logitech mouse given to me as nonworking and all I had to do was turn the battery around and it worked fine. Second, you might need to try a different brand battery. I have had AA batteries that had short terminals on the + side and would not make contact in the battery box of the mouse. If neither of those work clean the terminals in the battery box really well with a fingernail file or knife or even a fingernail emery board. Sometimes a little corrosion can be in just the wrong place and keep the battery from making contact. If none of these work the mouse has more serious problems than you probably want to tackle, given the price of a new mouse.

Hi there. I just bought a Logitech v220 mouse on ebay. It came in a little envelope, and no other packaging. It seams do be doa. Trised to install new setpoint software. The software recognizes the mouse....

I'm not familiar with this particular model, but I have a Logitech wireless mouse w/ a nano receiver. You say the software recognizes the mouse? Is it functioning at all with the battery in it (a new one preferably). Have you tried setting it up using the Setpoint software? Without more information, I can't really help you. You're saying it's DOA, but at the same time you're saying the software recognizes it, which makes me think there's something going on there. Please write back with more details as to whether or not you've tried to set up the mouse with the software and whether or not it's wireless or not. Thank you.

Logitech optical mouse won't turn on with new batterys

When you say turn on, I assume you mean the mouse itself shows no indication of power. An easy way to check this is to turn the mouse upside-down and look at the red led light that illuminates the desk surface for the optical camera (This is most typically red, on particular models it can be other colors). If it's red and lit, then your mouse is receiving power. If that's the case, the problem could be that your mouse is simply not synchronizing with your system, or that it is not properly installed.

If the red light is not turning on, then the mouse is in fact defective. There is little to repair physically with optical mice, or mice in general. If you've ensured that the mouse has new batteries (not just old ones from out of the desk drawer that were new last year) and it is completely lifeless, I would say it's defective and should be replaced.

Hope that helps.
