We were watching the tv and it just shut off all by itself. It won't turn on now.

When something like that happens the problem is probably in the power supply section of the receiver.

The problem is a voltage dip. I can reproduce this on the same model TV by turning on the A/C or the oven and dryer at the same time. As soon as I hear the thermostat click on the TV shuts off. Just order a voltage regulator today, will see if that works.

i believe your sleep timer is still set.. go to the menu and find your sleep timer options turn on or off with volume buttons..that should help

Hi replace the fuse in the wire connecting the mains plug. It's generally located within the 3 pin plug.
If you are lucky it maybe just a fuse blown out.

Poor solder connection, resolder your boards.

One must be very careful of the quality of the replacement lamp. Many of the cheap 'deals' on the web for replacement lamps are substandard. I always recommend that replacement bulbs be the original manufacturers bulb.
