The Honeywell pro6000 runs on 24 volt control voltage and can control a 15 ton rtu that uses the same ac voltage in its controls.

Do you have it programmed right? I don't know the colors of your thermostat wires but your w2 wire will be hooked together with your emergency wire they will be on the E terminal. you hook it up the same way you took it off but hook w2 and E together on the E terminal.

Compressor will not stop running

There has to be a stat or switch or controller of some kind on the rv. I would check that first. If you have a battery operated stat then try changing the batts, otherwise it could be the contactor on the unit or a bad stat.

I have an RV roof mount air conditioner that turns off and on at the unit. Can it be wired to a thermostate so it would operate automatically?

Yes - and as a matter of fact you should have a t-stat incorporated in the unit you have. It might be called 'Temperature Control' or something else - but you should have a t-stat.

the first problem is you need a milli-volt t-stat and your central has a 24volt t-stat if you connect the 2 it will fry the controlls in the wall heater the second problem is t-stat location if the wall heater is near the central heats t-stat it will shut off the central to soon . maybe relocate wall unit to coldest room ?

Honeywell thermostat manual

The model number is going to be on the thermostat. It is not unusual for the number to be on the back of the stat, meaning you may have to take it off the wall. It could also be found betweenthe base ans the stat.

Once you have the model number googel "Honeywell XXX" with XXX being the stat model number. If you can't find the stat, you can go to the Honeywell web site and do a search, matching your stat, by the pictures and functions. It is a bit tedious, but it works.

The model of T-stat you gave comes up as a discontinued model on Honeywell's web site, but it looks to be a manual stat that type of stat would have to be wired with a summer winter switch with electric heat, allowing it to turn on the fan with a call for heat. If yours is a programmable T-stat you would need to select electric heat or in the installers set up change the default setting for fan from unit controls fan in heat to thermostat controls fan.

Honeywell digital thermostat stopped working

Sounds to me like you have a low voltage short. If the stat had no display until you installed the battery means there was no voltage for the stat to work. Putting the battery in proves the stat works, no motors turning on probably leads to a blown low voltage fuse generally a blade fuse on circuit board in indoor unit. Good Luck
