Your second controller is probably not synchronized with the xbox. there is a small white button on the top of the controller. Press and hold it until the lights on the xbox guide button starts to glow and spin (only works if the controller is on). Then press and hold a small white button located on your xbox located to the left of the xbox power button, it will light up and do the same. The xbox and the controller will find each other.

Note that I am talking about the old white version of the xbox. For the new xbox slim you press the small black button next to the USB ports on the front.

Hope this helps : )

Gamecube games don't have the proper coding installed on the discs in order to receive commands from the Wiimote. You'll have to have a Gamecube controller to play Gamecube games even on the Wii console.

I put in a dvd, it starts to read it, and in a couple of seconds it ejects

Hello; There are many laws and rules controlling what you can watch on all DVD players, built into a TV or separate player. If you go buy an MGM or other dvd of some movie at Walmart , Best Buy ETC it should play in your DVD player, But if You or somebody " Burned a DVD" , It Likely won't play. If The DVD is an original store copy and still won't play, the DVD chassis must be replaced. BIG BUCKS. Just buy a Cheap DVD player and plug into the jacks on the back of the TV and save a TON of money. John

I can't get any game to work. We used to be able to wiggle the game or take it out and put it into the console on a different angle, but now it won;t work at all. The power light still comes on on the...

Note: It is possible that the problem you have may be game play related. For example, if you cannot defeat a particular enemy, or are missing an item you need to complete an area, the problem is likely game play related and there is nothing wrong with your game. Please check our game play help for assistance.
  1. Insert the Game Pak into the system. The Game Pak label should be facing the front of the Nintendo 64.
  2. Make sure the Game Pak firmly clicks down into place.
  3. Remove all accessories (with the exception of the N64 Expansion Pak) to see if the Game Pak works correctly without the accessory. If the game does work correctly once the accessory is removed, then the game pak and the accessory may not be compatible. Check the game pak instruction manual.
  4. Check the instruction manual for the game to see if it requires any special accessories, such as the Expansion Pak, to operate.
  5. Check the list of specific game issues to see if there are any known problems for the game you are playing.
Due to the age of the system, we no longer offer factory repairs directly from Nintendo. Please click here to find out what options are available for repair or replacement of your product.
  • Controller Error Messages (e.g. No Controller Detected)
    1. Make sure you are using all licensed accessories with your system. Make sure both the controller is licensed and any accessories you are using with the controller (Rumble Pak, Controller Pak) are licensed as well. Unlicensed products may not be fully compatible with our systems.
    2. Slide the Power Switch on the control deck to the OFF position and unplug the controller. Plug the controller back in, making sure the controller-plug is firmly inserted into socket one (on the left front ofthe control deck). Slide the power switch on the control deck to the ON position.
    3. If possible, try another controller in the left-hand port. If you have a second controller, repeat Steps 1 through 3. If the trouble disappears, the first controller may need to be replaced. For information on locating replacements for older products, please click here.

  • Character Won't Move or Moves on its Own
    1. The most common cause of this problem is when the control stick on the controller is not in the neutral position when the N64 system is turned on. The neutral position is when the control stick is centered, as it is when you hold the controller while not touching the control stick. Recalibrate the Controller by using one of the following methods:
      • Turn the power off on the system. Make sure the control stick on the controller is in the neutral (center) position, and slide the power switch to the ON position. Be sure not to touch the control stick for the first few seconds.
      • During game play you can press the L+R+START simultaneously while the control stick on the controller is in a neutral (center) position.

    2. Consult the Game Pak manual for information on the primary directional control for the game. Some game paks use the control pad rather than the control stick for character movement.
    3. Try cleaning the controller (See Below).
    4. If possible, try another controller in the left-hand port. If you have a second Controller, repeat Steps 1 through 3. If the trouble disappears, the first controller may need to be replaced. For information on locating replacements for older products, please click here..
  • N64 Sticky Buttons or Control Stick, or other controller problems Try the following cleaning procedures:
    1. Unplug the controller from the control deck.
    2. Get a clean toothbrush (no toothpaste) and a cup of warm tap water (not too hot). Do NOT pour or submerge the controller in any type of liquid.
    3. Slightly dip the toothbrush in the water (the toothbrush should not be dripping wet) and scrub the area of the controller around the buttons and control stick.
    4. Work the bristles down around the sides of the buttons and the control stick.
    5. After cleaning the controller, dry it off with a paper towel.
    6. Let the controller air dry for at least a couple of hours.
    7. Test the controller for proper response.
If possible, try another controller in the left-hand port. If you have a second controller, repeat Steps 1 through 7. If the trouble disappears, the first controller may need to be replaced. For information on locating replacements for older products, please click here.

Transfer Pak

  1. Verify that only licensed accessories are being used with the system. Unlicensed products are not fully compatible with Nintendo systems, and may not work correctly.
  2. Check the game pak manual or packaging to verify that the game is designed to be used with the N64 Transfer Pak.
  3. Make sure the Game Boy game pak works properly in a Game Boy system. It may be a problem with the Game Boy game pak and not the Transfer Pak.
  4. Verify that the game paks are inserted in both the control deck and the N64 Transfer Pak. If they are not, insert them and then turn the control deck power off and back on again.
  5. Verify that the controller is plugged into the proper controller socket on the front of the control deck. If it is not, secure it and then press reset on your control deck.
  6. Remove and re-insert the N64 Transfer Pak, making sure the pak is fully inserted into the bottom of the controller. If it is not, secure it and then press reset on the control deck.
  7. If possible, try another controller. If the Transfer Pak works in another controller, it may be the controller that is having a problem. Check out controller troubleshooting (click here).
If the issue persists, the Transfer Pak may need to be replaced. For information on locating replacements for older products, please click here.

Controller Pak

  • Deleting Saved Information From Controller Paks Depending on the game you own, there are a couple of different ways to delete the saved information on a Controller Pak.
    1. While turning on the Control Deck, hold down the START button on Controller #1. If the programmers utilized this feature, a Controller Pak menu should appear. This menu will allow you to view and delete the contents of the Controller Pak.
    2. If the first option doesn't work, then the game pak will have a feature that can only be accessed from a game menu. For example, in Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey, you delete saved info from the Options screen.
To find out the specifics of how the Controller Pak works with a particular game, check the game's instruction manual.

Only one controller can work at a time

You will need to pair the second controller. To do this power on your ps3 as normal with the controller that works, then plug in your second controller via usb and press the "PS" button. The red LED's should flash and then the second led should stay on.

You should be able to play normally.
