Sounds like a serious problem with the laptop. Since it's new, I would try to return or exchange the product at the store your bought it at to see if that rectifies the problem.

Without a task bar or icons, you won't be able to go to the recommended restore or recovery console options.

That's why I would recommend that you try to hurry up and get warranty replacement of the product before it's too late.

    i also faced the same issues which you are facing and my friend told me about "ijinni technician" i contacted them at WWW. Ijinni. Com for any issues Just open the website and you can chat with the experts who are Microsoft certified technicians and will fix the issue itself on the spot or u can call them through Skype or contact and for more visit their website as it is very user friendly website. Just click on the chat as the response rate will be very fast from them and they have fixed my issues in no time.
    There are 4 ways to reach them.
    1. Once you open the website just click on the live chat where one of the IJINNI technicians will be in touch with you.

    2. If you have Skype installed in your machines just add the contact "ijinni.com" (free call).

Check eBay. I've been working on computers for years and order ALL of my replacement keyboards through eBay. I just found 9 of them after entering your model number; about $16 with free shipping. Sarawill82 hit the nail on the head for the replacement; you tube is your friend if you're doing it yourself. If it doesn't have your exact laptop, look at other videos. It will give you an idea what you need to look for to replace the keyboard.

It beats paying a computer store a $45+ bench fee, and it will only take you about 15 minutes as a novice.

Don't try to clean it; you could cause more extensive damage than just replacing the keyboard.

My touch pad can control but cant select and the left click does not work please help me because i need it this morning to do a presentation

Check that your drivers for your touchpad aren't missing/corrupted and update them if necessary under the Devices menu. If that doesn't work, back up your work and do a system restore. If -that- doesn't work, you need to call in for repair service and I'd suggest getting a USB mouse in the meantime.

How do I replace screen on satellite c655-s5132 with screen from satellite L305-s5919?

I'm sorry, but this isn't possible. The screens are two different sizes. The Satellite C655-S5132 has a 15.6" Widescreen display while the Satellite L305-S5919 has a 15.4" Widescreen display. The two aren't interchangeable. Sorry!

Ran into this 1 before a few times on the 600 series Cs, once was a driver issue from a virus left unrepaired and the second time was a bios error which required me to obtain the bios update and reflash the bios, not an easy project at all, but watch the youtube how to videos and im sure you could handle it :).
