Question about Cameras
First of all i would like to inform the solution which is universally applicable for this message :-
1. Make sure that the lock on the memory card is OK.
2. Reformat the memory card from the PC.
3. Replace the memory card.
If these 3 solutions didn't work, read further.
This is a common problem reported on Canon rebel XSI models.
There are not any firmware updates from Canon that will cover a card error problem.Since you have tried, without success to format a number of cards,a hardware problem is most likely.System board will most likely be in need of replacement on this model. The most cost effective and fastest turnaround repair route will be to contact mfg for a repair estimate(flat labor, part availability and alignment capability).
Contact Canon factory service at (630)250-6500
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
