With your statement, I understood a/c got ice formation in cooling coil. It's because of dirty filter & dirty coils. Service the unit. And due to less rpm or no running of fan also it happens. Rotate your fan manually, if it's hard replace bearings. If easily rotate, replace capacitor. Thanks.

Water on floor passenger side after it rains and after air has been running 2000 grand prix

Ac hose leak?
leaking heater core?

Hint: it leaks when it RAINS

If it were related to the heater core or the AC drain, it would be leaking when it is not raining also, so those diagnoses are not logical.

The grand prix has a long history of floor leaks from seal failures around the air intake under the windshield cowling, where RAIN water runs in.

04 Buick LeSabre leaking water at blower motor after new windshield was installed

if this only happens when it rains then call the shop up to have them reseal it. If it happens when you run the AC then the drain vent is clogged and may not have anything to do with his work. Its simple to blow out the vent from under the car with compressd air. Have a shop do this on your next oil service. It will be alot cheaper rather than taking it in for just this procedure,

AC blows warm air when it rains

It sounds as if you have an ambient temperature sensor that is either shorting out when it gets wet or either the water is acting like an insulator and sends an incorrect reading to the body control module. You may want to contact BMW to the specific location on your particular year and model. As location will vary with model and year.

Whenever it rains, water ends up on my drivers side floor board. It also seems to short out my fuel pump, and keep my truck from firing. 1999 F150 Extended Cab, V8 5.4 330 cubic inches

Leak around the windshield.Have seen alot of these. If you have access to an air compressor it is pretty easy to find the leak just spray some foam window cleaner around the outside of the windshield and the hit it with air on the inside. It will blow the foam when you hit the leak. You will most likely have to have the windshield cut out and resealed and unfortunately half the time they crack when doing this.

GE air conditioner with air louvers on top of case - problem?

Most fan motors are allergic to water. You should carefully examine the places where rain could go and decide whether GE has sold you a risky situation. After all, they have left it up to you to make the decision.

I wouldn't buy one with openings on the top and I wouldn't keep one after GE has demonstrated that not responding is the kind of help you will receive.

Trane HVAC Unit

If your condenser blow air up through the top of the condenser and you are concern about rain water affecting the unit.

You can install a roof or rain hood about 4ft above the unit to keep the rain off, The unit must be able to blow air off without causing Hi head pressure to affect the unit, The condenser must breathe or desipate heat freely.

Tell me if your question answered or if it works for you.
