To cancel the timer remove batteries in remote and reset it. and also reset the power with a/c unit. now you can operate with your remote.

Panasonic air con - when you turn the air con on it runs for about 3 mins and then the timer light flashes. Air con will not work.

• Once abnormality has occurred during operation, the unit
will stop its operation, and Timer LEDs blink.
• Although Timer LED goes off when power supply is turned
off, if the unit is operated under a breakdown condition, the
LED will light up again.
• In operation after breakdown repair, the Timer LED will no
more blink. The last error code (abnormality) will be stored in
IC memory.
• To make a diagnosis:
1. Timer LED start to blink and the unit automatically
stops the operation.
2. Press the CHECK button on the remote controller
continuously for 5 seconds.
3. "- -" will be displayed on the remote controller display.
Note: Display only for "- -". (No transmitting signal, no
receiving sound and no Power LED blinking.)
4. Press the "TIMER" or button on the remote
controller. The code "H00" (no abnormality) will be
displayed and signal will be transmitted to the main
unit.
5. Every press of the button (up or down) will increase
abnormality numbers and transmit abnormality code
signal to the main unit.
6. When the latest abnormality code on the main unit
and code transmitted from the remote controller are
matched, power LED will light up for 30 seconds and
a beep sound (continuously for 4 seconds) will be
heard. If no codes are matched, power LED will light
up for 0.5 seconds and no sound will be heard.
7. The breakdown diagnosis mode will be canceled by
pressing the CHECK button continuously for 5 sec-
onds or without any operation the remote control for
30 seconds.
8. The LED will be off if the unit is turned off or the
RESET button on the main unit is pressed.

When you have the error code, we can work out what to do next.

My panasonic airconditioner c9kkzw timer is always blinking and automatically turned off every hour. its driving me crazy becasue my kids won't asleep.. please please help me, tried turn and off but to no...

I think, you have set the timer for one hour. No problem, remove battery from remote and reset it and same way isolate the power to your air conditioner for 5 seconds and reset it. Now all pre programmed would have been canceled. Now you can set your temp as you like.
And another reason may be your compressor getting heated after an hour, due to dust blocked in your out door coil. Hence, please serive the unit at once. Thanks.

Timer set on remote, cancels out after use

I have discovered that a 7 day timer is available, but it is a fixed and separate box and will need to be programmed into the wall unit, at a cost of $500.As i am a pensioner and unable to afford this cost, I must persevere with the remote I have. Why can't the so-called experts provide a top of the line product in the first place? The last aircon unit I had was a Fujitsu, and that DID Have a very good remote enabling a programme of ON - OFF, On - Off in a 24 hour period. Thanks for trying to help.

Program timer light blinking

The timer light blinks when the AC power has been disconnected and the clock is not set. This is how the set warns you that it can no longer do timer recordings. Setting the clock and doing an autoprogram will fix it, but both the remote and the remote receiver must be working. If the original remote is not damaged and has good batteries in it but does not work on that set and you cannot get any other universal remote to work, then the remote receiver (the IR "eye") inside the set has failed and needs to be replaced. I have seen many of those little receivers failing recently. If you do not have experience changing electronic parts on small PC boards then have a qualified tech change it for you.
