Question about GE Dryers
Hello, Welcome to FixYa. Though it would be hard to accept, it is quite possibly a motor...not that unusual for GE sadly. However I'd still go and have a look as you planned, look specifically for a garment or some foriegn object jamming the blower, also in some cases a heavy load off center can physically "twist" the motor in its bracket hence placing too much drag on the motor bearing to start...giving it a twist in the opposite way might correct it.
