Question about Car Audio & Video
You should be able to find them here:
I think that the key is to use the term "harness" when searching for this information.
I would contact Crutchfield.com and try to purchase a ready-made wiring harness for your vehicle. Hopefully they can sell you one without having to purchase a stereo from them. The harness will plug directly into the Transit's existing stereo plug and they you solder it to the harness that came with your head unit. This make your new head unit plug match the factory head unit plug so you don't have to make any modifications to the factory harness. Very good when you want to restore the vehicle to its orginal state.
I hope this helps. Good luck!

Ford transit?? great motor these anyway wiring colours well just buy a wiring kit to align with original wiring if the wires have beed hacked off then use a meter to locate the permanant 12v feed and the switchable ignition switch feed thats all you need for this vehicle as it has no volume increase with speed control or anything fancy the set will eart up the aerial cable or just use the meter to again locate the earth its easy to do ,resistance setting one end on metal and test the cables ,should be a black wire for the earth but the set will earth up the outer sheath of the aerial cable ,i had one of the first transits ever built a german one from 1965 with a 1.5 V4 engine ,wish i still had it though it must be worth a fortune now .
