How do I turn it on

There is two red lights, one means you are recording and the other is low batt. which one you are talking about?
If it is Low batt light, there is dirty or bad contacts at battery compartemt. clean it with alcohol and a piece of cotton.

The other light is you are recording.
also you are in VOX mode, disconect.
VOX means voice operated without hands.

I have somehow turned off my internet connection on my motorola defy. How do I turn it back on?? Thanks

If you mean its embedded FM radio, inside its music application, try to do this (if you haven't already done it, that is): prior to quiting the application, tap the headset icon located at the bottom of the screen. You'll notice that the 'play' icon will disappear from from the notification area (on the top of the screen).
Just my 2 cents. Hope it helps, somehow.
Anyway, please, let me know if I can help any further.

I have the Motorola defy. I used cell radio for the first time and thought I turned it off, but noticed under 'battery use' that it is still using up my battery. How do I turn it off?

I can't turn my olympus digital voice recorder WS-450S on, even with a new battery, i hadn't used it in a while, so i was shocked that it didn't work. It only turns on if i plug it in to the computer, but...

I've got this same problem :( Turns on when I plug it in to the USB, stays on when I disconnect it but if I turn it off I can't turn it back on again. It is showing a "battery low" warning and I tried to charge it via the USB last night, but it seems to stop charging after a while and despite being left for a good time last night, this morning it is the same and I've had another battery low warning.

I've just found the full pdf manual online, and have found (on page 80) a reference to it not always behaving stably when connected via a USB hub. I'm going to try to charge it via a direct port and see if that fixes it.

When i try to turn on camera i get message pile faible and it turns off. What is that?

I believe that is a "low battery" error. You need to change the battery(ies). Check that your charger is working correctly as well if you are using the rechargeable batteries. (The camera takes 2 AAs, 2 rechargeable AAs (SNB-2312 or SBP-1303) or 1 CR-V3). If new batteries do not help, check the contacts in the battery compartment for corrosion or bent contacts. Often a pencil eraser used gently can remove the first problem. Gently unbend any bent contacts.

After you put in new batteries, you can change your language setup. Press Menu (when not in voice record mode), use the left/right arrows to choose Setup (Ajustage) (the icon reads SET with a crescent in the upper left). Use the up/down to select the third item in the list (Language/Langue) and press the right arrow. Use the up/down arrows to highlight English (Anglais) at the top of the list. Press the OK button. Press Menu twice to get the menu to disappear.

I hope this helps.

My jeep was driving fine...and then all of a

Put a volt meter on the battery. You should have at least 12 volts there. If not, recharge the battery and re-check the charging system. Some systems have the voltage regulator as an integral part of the computer. "full fielding" the alternator tells you the alternator is good but does not tell you if the regulator is working. You also need to check for electrical drains on the battery when the engine isn't running.
Of course, put oil back in the engine if it's low, but that should not keep it from starting unless somehow you have seized it from a no oil condition. If you can turn it by hand, that hasn't happened.

Phone will not charge

Hello Klord3,

The problem is most likely the battery which you can purchase HERE
---If you know someone with the same phone, ask to try theres.

It's more of a personal choice of if you want to try purchasing a battery or upgrading your phone. You can then put your SIM card in the new phone and it's as simple as that. (phone must be for the same service provider as the old one)

Thank you for choosing Fixya!

New Card

I don't know if this is related to the recording problem, but I believe the red blinking icon may be telling you to replace the backup battery. It's a button-type battery and is located under a small panel located in the area where the LCD folds into, just below and to the left of the buttons there. The battery is a CR1616 battery. Try replacing it and see if it resolves the recording issue.

Can't read the date/time

There may be a simple explanation. Here are two possible reasons this is happening: * You may have disconnected the power source before turning off the power to your camcorder. If you remove the power source from the camcorder while the power is on, all settings and selections will be erased. Make sure to turn the camcorder's power off before disconnecting the power source. * This is particularly an issue for some early VHS-C camcorders – those with model numbers beginning with a "6" and ending with a "2" or "3" (i.e. CC6xx2 … CC6xx3). These camcorders have a consumer-replaceable clock battery that may be exhausted. If that battery runs dead or is removed and the main battery or AC is not connected, the camcorder will lose all its Date and Time settings. * In some models, the date and time display is designed to do this. When you turn on many VHS-C and digital camcorders, the Auto Date mode will display the time and date. When recording begins, the date is recorded on the tape for 5 seconds and then disappears. In the viewfinder, the date will then be replaced with the words AUTO DATE but they will not be recorded. They remain in your viewfinder so that you know this feature is on. On full-size or VHS camcorders, the Auto Date feature is very similar. When you first turn on the camcorder, the date along with the word AUTO and a Clock icon appear in the viewfinder. When recording begins, the date is automatically recorded for 10 seconds and then disappears. In the viewfinder, the Clock icon and the word AUTO remain but they will not be recorded. They remain so that you are aware that this feature is on. When using the Auto Date feature, be aware that the time is only recorded when you first turn on the camcorder and begin a recording session. It does not record each time you press the record button. There are a number of time and date display and recording options. Since these vary by model number, please refer to your owner’s manual for more details.
