Question about Motorola Mobility H700 Wireless Headset

1 Answer

Cannot cancel call on headset when getting a busy signal.

Just got the unit and paired it easily with my Z9 Motorola phone. All worked well until I called a number and got a busy signal. When I tapped on the earpiece, nothing happened except hearing the busy signal.

The only way it stopped is when I hit the end button the phone.(Had to pull over as it was in the backseat electrical outlet charging at the time.

Anybody has/had and solved this issue. If not, the unit goes back to Costco.

Tried tapping it and just keep hearing the busy signal. Only way to shut it off is to hit the end button on the phone.

Just tap the Call button - don't hold it in or it'll place the call on hold

Cannot pair my iphone with blueant

The typical setup with a Bluetooth is press whatever the main button on the device is until there is a glowing blue light (usually about 3-6 seconds). You then need to go to the Bluetooth menu on the phone (under settings). Select scan for devices. After a few seconds, you should see Blueant Z9. Select it. it will then ask for pin to pair device. It should be either 0000 or 1234. After that, you should be all done.

Im trying to pair my iphone with my blueant but it keeps saying (make sure blueant st3 is turned on in range and ready to pair)

First off the device you are referring to is a ST3 and not a Z9. What you need to do is put the device into pair mode prior to searching in your iphones bluetooth menu, to do this with the device off hold down the green button until you hear a language loop. When you hear the language of your choice let go of the green button and press it once right away. You will hear a message about your phones bluetooth menu, when you hear that go to your Iphones bluetooth menu and select the ST3 and it should work.

I cannot remember how to pair BlueAnt bluetooth to new devices

You will need to set the Z9 into pairing mode before your iPhone will find it.

The manual for the z9 is here

With the Z9 OFF, Press and Hold the MFB for about 6 seconds. The LED will appear a solid Blue, and then will start flashing. The Z9 is now in Pairing mode and ready to be found in searches by other Bluetooth devices. Pairing mode will be active for 2 minutes.

Enter Passkey "0000" when your phone prompts you. The phone and Z9 will now Pair.

Z9 not recognized by new phone

All you do is hold down the volume up and down buttons along with the silver button on top simultaneously for just a second and the blue light will stay on. (yes, you will need both hands to do this) You are now in the pairing mode. Follow intructions on your phone and it should work. I got this solution at Blueant 1-866-891-3032.
