Sorry to read about your problem, I hope this helps you out.

Clean your dryer vents, and lint filters. You may need to clean vent from wall to outside. to test this.. unhook vent pipe from wall..and run dryer and see what happens. If the problem does not improve, you may have a defective heat coils.

My dryer isn't drying like it should. It doesn't seem as hot as it use to be and it takes forever to get things dry. I'm not sure if it's lint build up or something more. Any help will be appreciated.

Does not dry thoroughly

Clean out the entire exhaust venting system. If a build up of lint is inside of it the moister sensor shuts down the heating process causing the time to take to dry clothes seem forever

Dryer taking too long to dry

If you can get the dryer outside, blow it out from the bottom with compressed air (using an air compressor or even a leaf blower). make sure the vent is clear and has no lint buildup. make sure the burner unit is also lint/dust free. If it is still heating, that is good news, and it is most likely a "breathing" issue. it also could be an issue with your gas pressure, however that is very unlikely. Best wishes in this project.

Whirlpool dryer has very little heat

Sounds like your not getting enough gas supply, there is a regulater that controls the flow of gas they can get carbon build-up and restrict the gas.You need to turn off your gas supply and unplug it,remove the regulator and clean the lines,or replace the part.

Hope this helped.Let me know by rating me or
