i got a samsung sgh-a137 from a friend but it is lock how can i get the code to unlock this phone am living in st.vincent

Go to Att.com and go to unlock sim card section. You will get the password there. DO NOT enter the password unless you have the correct code. If you entry the wrong code 10 times it will burn up your sim card.
