Check cooling fan at the bottom if it is clogged with dust, it wont allow air ventilation resulting in hardning toner.

I had a jam, upon clearing the jam, the printer will hang with the motor turning, and the display saing 'adding toner'. I changed the (new) toner, for a brand new one. Still message will not go away.

Leave the machine working to see the next message of Adding Toner. Usually the next message of "Adding Toner" is "Ready to Copy".
If the next message is "Add Toner", i suggest you to pull the new toner kit out and push it a little bit harder and check again.
If you power the machine off and on again, can you see what the message about toner is, Original or Unknown Toner is installed?

I amusing cannon ir6000 . the error indcation is -check hopper conetivity

I take that it is saying that the toner hopper is not connected to the copier??? The connector for the hopper is covered by a small cover with one screw. With the front door open look on thebottom right of the hopper, there is a small cover > make sure the copier is "OFF" > remove the screw and you will see a white connector > make sure that the connector is installed & all the way in..... If that dose not do the trick, you may have a bigger problem....... Good Luck

The problem is with toner section. The copier cant get toner to toner unit or the toner motor is faulty.

Toner light on, will not printer, get a message that i need to move the green tab back and forth, printer will not print

It is out of toner. This message is the when it runs out. Almost 100% of the time it is out of toner. If it is not out the fix is harder. I suggest replace the toner.
