YOU CAN CUT BY USING THE MAGIC TOOL THIS IS THE EASIEST WAY

Using the magic wand tool usually creates a pixelated and all around awful looking image regardless of the tolerance you set. I personally only use it to extract solid colors from vectors.; and even then I'd usually use a transfer mode.

Pen tool: create a bezier mask around the object you wish to extract, connect all the points until you have one solid shap then right click and choose "Make Selection" Then CMD + X or C or whatever to extract.

to add text create new layer : CMD+ SHIFT + N (mac) CTRL SHIFT + N (windows) then hit "T" which brings up the text shortcut, click on your canvas and you're away.

How do I do mirror (or reverse) printing for a t-shirt transfer? Thanks.

If you are printing text only, you can create it using wordart in word and then use rotate or flip command to reverse the text.
If you are printing a JPG with text, the easiest way will be to use photoshop to edit the image and add text if desired, then use the mirror utility, The picture and text get reversed and the transfer is printed in reverse to become "positive" when you iron it on the Tshirt.

hope this helps.

Setting camera to take reduced resolution size photo's to enable inclusion in a report and email it as a word document

Try this instead...click on "edit" at the top of the screen and click on "insert text box". Then, draw a text box where you want it in the report. Click on "edit" again and click on "insert" and choose picture. When the box opens, locate the picture you want to insert and select it and choose insert. Your picture will appear in the text box you created already downsized to fit.

Cannot edit PDFs in Adobe 8.0 Professional

This maybe bee a solution.

1: the text is inserted in a picture, therefore you can not edit it
2: the text you want to edit has a unknown font for adobe, therefore you need to delete the word/ from "." to "." and then wirte all between the "." again
3: you are not choisen first the area you want to edit, and then the text feature to insert the text

Hope this was helpfull, if not come again

How to scann a page as a text format

hello! okay heres how, See your manual if you have, but if doesn't don't mind! Just insert your HP CD then locate Omni Page installer then install it.  You need to install it because thats how conversions take place. Of course, you can't expect quality output on pictures but text will be converted into RTF or rich text format which you can edit it later on MS Word. then, after you install it, locate the program and run it. Just follow onscreen instructions and you'll be good.

Edit Text on a picture after Adding it

no, text in an image is not saved as text, it is encoded to each pixel that it overwrites.
do not add text in camera, save the images to a hard disk and use a simple image editor, like irfanview http://www.irfanview.com, to do the text overlays, it has undo, you can use irfanview to pixel edit the text set image

Pasteing and how it works

If you mean pasting in relation to cut / copy & pasting

How it works
When you cut or copy something, for example text, it is saved into the clipboard. Then when you paste, the text that is in the clipboard gets pasted. You can paste that same text more than once, it stays in the clipboard until it is over written (by cutting ot copying something else) or you restart your PC.

How to use it
There is a couple of ways to cut / copy & paste

1. Use right clicking menu
you can select something, some text for example, then right click on it with your mouse and select Cut or Copy. To paste right click where you want the text to be pasted and select Paste

2. Use application's Edit drop down menu
you can select something, some text for example, then select the application's Edit drop down menu and select Cut or Copy. To paste click where you want the text to be pasted select the application's Edit drop down menu and select Paste

3. Use keyboard shortcuts
you can select something, some text for example, then press Ctrl + X to Cut or Ctrl + C to Copy. To paste click where you want the text to be pasted then press Ctrl + V to Paste

Hope this helps
