Everything is connected back as it was... I have exactly the same problem and so do a few other people on the net. This problem seems to be attached to the machine randomly crashing or BSOD , eventualy not POST booting at all. l am currently working on my machine. I will post a solution when I get it solved. This happens to mine often. I found restarting it and powering up an external connected VDU it would then start up and pressing Fn F9 eventually got the screen back. A cool day and powering up the VDU just at the right time works. I can then use it until it overheats again. 2 months or 2 mins depending on the weather. I'm going to buy a new machine soon.

This sounds to be an issue with the processor. Try removing the processor, blowing it off, and reseating it firmly and properly. Put it back together and see if this cures it. Keep in mind that a malfunctioning processor can cause an overheating problem just as easily as a fan or heatsink.

The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I don't know "where" you worked on it, but I hope you were'nt standing on carpet when you did.If everything is connectrd the way it was, then the only thing I can think of is ESD (ElectroStatic Discharge) damage.
