Usually this problem comes when there is lots of dust on the cpu heat sink, fan and the mother board.just use a long soft paint brush and clean the dust, alos if you have a vacum cleaner reverse the inlet and use it as a blower.
try and post comments

It won't be the cpu. If it was, nothing would happen. I would look for a GPU issue, possible over heat.

Medion MED MT503 won't start or go through p.o.s.t.

When you say "fan" do you mean case fan or CPU fan? Almost sounds like the CPU fan is inoperative and the system is shutting down on CPU overtemp, then trying to restart.

When i plugged power cable to my pc cpu fan start without press power button

It should start for a few seconds, the fans should spin and then stop. You should be able to power it up as per normal. If that is no the case then you are having hardware issues which could be the Power supply

Try replacing the power supply - I had a similar problem that was fixed that way. If that doesn't work, it's probably the motherboard itself. The CPU is also possible - have you overclocked it or otherwise cooked it? Is the CPU cooler/fan blocked with fluff, or has the fan been slow (or stopped) - noisy fan is a sign of bearing stiffness/partial seizure which slows the fan and lets the CPU get too hot. If the CPU is fried, you get the symptoms you describe (MB won't start the PS)

I would check the video card to make sure it is seated properly and clear from any dust and lent in the slot.

Also, make sure the fan/heatsink is on properly. If your processor isn't staying cool, it will turn on for a few seconds then shut off.

Asus Laptop freeze after starting

if the fan does not work... don't use the computer till you replace the fan with one that is working.... a good chance you will burn out the cpu. usually thermal shutdown occurs when the cpu gets too hot... you may also want to consider purchasing a notebook cooler....

Start up

If the Computer In question is a PC Desktop computer a few issues. First power supply may be malfunctioning. Second check the the CPU fan inside computer is running and not full of dust when you turn it on. If it's dusty, get vacuum cleaner and clean it. Fans need to be able to work without overheating because CPU runs hot.
Thirdly try to take out battery and restart computer. If starts up replace with new battery.

In Case it's a laptop. Take out battery and try to run using power supply and if turns on place battery back in. If battery isn't charging you will need a new battery. Let me know how you go!

Trouble shooting

OC failure = over clocking failure. Make sure the CPU fan is clean, free from dirt & dust. Check CPU fan plug is connected correctly. If the CPU fan still stops after a few seconds replace the CPU fan.
It's harder to find just a fan to fit your heatsink, which sits on your CPU. It is easier to find a new heatsink \ fan combo for your Intel. Use your manual to find what Intel chip is on your board. Use that information & search google for a heatsink & fan combo. Pay close attention to how your current heatsink is mounted to the Gigabyte board.
