Hi,
To select the AUX manually,Press function button repeatedly untill the AUX1/AUX2 appears. Press up button or down button to turn ON the AUX.
If using stereo mini plug you need to use AUX1
If using IP-BUS-RCA you need to use AUX2
Thank You

I could spend a lot of time describing how you heat round the screen, pry it off, move battery, remove 2 screws holding button assembly, relocate or shim button and reassemble it, but it's easier to point you at someone else's good work and some videos (thanks to those people)

Car radio wont work

First make sure that the AUX option is not set to off. Press A.Menu and then Initial Menu. Then select Aux1 or Aux2. Set this to match the type of device connected to the Auxiliary port, (The options are video, audio and OFF.) (When not in use, these should be set to OFF.)

Then press the Source button and try to set the Source to AUX1 or Aux2. If it still doesn't work, make sure that your device is connected to the jack. If that doesn't help, try a different device cable to connect to the Aux jack.

I hope this helps.

My aux wont recignise my ipod

Possible, but if your iPod is playing through an aux input, it is just gonna be analog audio through a headphone jack. Basically, if you have sound through headphones, then you can pipe that into any source unit. What radio do you have (brand and model number)? some radios have menus that require that you first turn on "Aux" before you'll hear any audio through it. Depending on brand and model, some units have "Aux1" and "Aux2".

Input/cut out

With the first question, if you are using an ip-bus to RCA adapter to connect your iPod to the CD changer port on the back of the radio, it won't be recognized until you turn on the AUX function on the radio. In the main function menu (usually gotten to when the radio is powered off), there is an option to turn on AUX1 or AUX2. Do this (consult owner's manual) and you should get your audio to play through.
With the 2nd question, the errors may have something to do with the file format on the discs. Not sure though.

THe radio doesn't recognise the AUX connection

While you may read over a million answers to this problem, try this one first:

With the KEY ON, POWER THE UNIT OFF, by pushing the volume button IN for 3 seconds.
After power is off and key is STILL ON, press and hold the volume button AGAIN for 3 FULL SECONDS. The elusive "Initial" settings should reappear at this point. press function to navigate the INITIAL SETTINGS to turn on AUX1 or AUX2, and even to set the clock...

To get out of INITIAL SETTINGS, simply press again for THREE SECONDS, or press "BAND" to "escape"...

I hope this helps.

Turn the ignition key to on or accessory position, turn the stereo off, then hold the function key for a couple seconds, the stereo will turn on and you scroll through the menu with the left and right arrow buttons and change settings with the up and down buttons
