SOURCE: F21 and 5d code
that is because there is a problem with your pump. you need to take the bottom panel off and untwist the pump filter if it has gone further you need to take the 3 screws out of the pump and clean the impeller. try cleaning the pump filter first though and let me know how it goes

I just fixed mine by following instruction already posted to this web site. The front bottom panel is held with two bolts ( I used a 7mm socket) remove this panel (not hard) Go get a pot or bucket to collect water. I have those drawers under my machines. I used a place mat to funnel the water into the pot. Right in the middle is a filter drain plug. Water will start comin out if you just barely open it. (easier to try to keep water from going under the washer). When the water slows unscrew the cap all the way and this wonder glob of stuff can be seen in the drain plug. Clean it out!!! Now I'm running with no stops or "sud" errors. Oh by the way people I had to investigate what all was in the glob, besides mulch, nails and other little goodies that escape my sons pockets....One of those (new) all in one detergent fabric softner sheets. Beware of these people. Come to think of it when I tried those things is when my problems started occurring. Good luck to you!

"F21" (AKA SD) is a Long (SLOW) Drain error (LD). If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes this error code will be displayed. In addition, a "SUDS" error may also be displayed. This may be an indication of a drain pump problem and/or clog in the drain line. You will need to check the following:
1.First, attempt to unplug the washer for at LEAST 30 minutes to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). Sometimes this is all that is required to correct momentary glitches with the unit. If the error code returns, proceed to step 2.
2.Check the drain hose to make sure it is not kinked or clogged.
3.Check the electrical connections to the pump and ensure the pump is running.
4.Remove the drain pump filter and check for foreign objects and/or debris.
To check the drain pump, click on the following link for step-by-step instructions
If the above procedures do not correct the problem, it is recommended by the manufacturer to replace the drain pump.

Tips for a great answer:
1 Check for any error codes in the Estimated Time Remaining display. The code "F20" indicates a water inlet problem. Press the Stop button twice to end the cycle and check that the faucets are turned on fully. Take a look at the inlet hoses. Close the valves and unscrew them. Look for any clogging on the screen and clear it.
3 "SD" on the display indicates the machine has gone into its Suds Routine. The Suds Routine removes excess suds so that the garments rinse properly. It's not a problem, but can be an indication you've used a non-high-efficiency powder. Just let the SD routine complete and the draining will continue.

F21 error means that the drain time has exceeded 8 minutes; this will turn off the water valves. Press PAUSE/CANCEL two times to clear the display. If errors still remains then please check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked. Disassemble the washer by removing the back from the washer and check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is draining. Also inspect the pump filter for foreign objects. Before disassembling remember to turn off the power and disconnect the washer. If it still doesn't help then there is an issue with the pump and you'll need to replace it. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.
