I think this is what you are looking for:

Google "digital". There find "Sylvania Products". Then click on "7 inch netbook support" and follow directions.

For item # 4, you find your "hot spot" name and click "connect".

For item # 5, you may have to call your Internet Service Provider (Charter, AT&T or whoever you pay for your internet) in order to get your "network keys" fill that in and then click "OK".

Next be sure you go to "Start", "Settings", "Control Panel", "Internet Options", "General" and complete "user agent (requires browser restart" by selecting:
"Default (same as windows XP)" or
"Same As Pocket PC" or
"Windows CE".

I selected "default" and was off and running.

Although this isn't a "lap-top" it is a really neat little machine and does a lot of stuff almost like one. It should be great for travel! It is a little slow and has small memory, but it's inexpensive and usb/sd ports are there. A regular universal mouse helps-just plug it into a USB port. I'm doing internet, movies, YouTube, word processing, etc like everything and I think a lot of people have way under-rated this fun little machine!

Hi i put in a new screen for my Gateway EC1433U Netbook i hook everything back up now it will not power up but i forget to take the battery out any help

Typically to remove the battery on a laptop/netbook, there is a small switch that you have to press.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find a video or a decent picture of the bottom of the laptop, but you should be able to deduce what you need to press in order to remove the battery.

I recently purchased a wireless mobile netbook. I already have internet servide but I don't have a wireless modem. How can I hook up to my present internet service. Thanks in advanced. Rebecca

You need to connect your net book via a cable. The cable is called a cat5 cable and looks like a big phone jack connector. It is just like the one that hooks your computer to your wired network. The cable can be hooked to one of the outlets on your wired network. Then your netbook should detect your connection and hook up.

We have new netbook and we are connect to a wireless internet but my netbook will not connect to the internet.

First, on the left side of the main screen, you will see an icon that says "WI-FI Power". That's the switch to turn it on. When you click it, a little box will appear that says "turn on" when it's off and "turn off" when it's on.

But maybe you hadn't fully set machine up yet.

Try checking the following to see if any of these steps were missed.

On a "hooked up" computer, Google "digital". There find "Sylvania Products". Then click on "7 inch netbook support" and follow directions inputing to the 7" netbook as you go.

For item # 4, you find your "hot spot" name (on the 7" netbook) and click "connect".

For item # 5, you may have to call your Internet Service Provider (Charter, AT&T or whoever you pay for your internet) in order to get your "network key" fill that in (on the 7" netbook) and then click "OK".

Next (on the 7" netbook) be sure you go to "Start", "Settings", "Control Panel", "Internet Options", "General" and complete "user agent (requires browser restart" by selecting:
"Default (same as windows XP)" or
"Same As Pocket PC" or
"Windows CE".

I selected "default" and was off and running.

I bought three of your sylvania 7 netbooks and well they all have connection but none of them will load a page says can not find server I tried to chat with an advisor I have already spent three hundred...

I am going to repeat the solution that I posted to others.

The SYNET07526 apparently has a problem accessing a network with an existing network security key. My solution after a couple of hours was to reset my router and choose a new security key after first renaming the network. This gave me a clean slate for the netbook to cycle to. It worked, and the netbook hooks up to my network without a problem. I had to re-establish my laptops security key using the new one I just reset which was easy for my laptop. now both the netbook and the laptop use the same key.
Note that you have to turn the netbook's wireless card on each time you use it, as this is a battery saver feature. Not so with most laptops as the card turns on automatically.

I bought an Asus Eee 1201HAB running windows XP for my daughter this month at Christmas from Best Buy. 2 days ago the screen went black...or unreadably dark. At the right angle in bright light I can...

It sounds very much like there is a problem with the LCD inverter. The inverter powers the backlight of the LCD panel making it light up so you can see it.

With the netbook being brand new i recommend that you take the netbook back to Best Buy and either have them replace the unit for a new one or have them arrange to send it back to Asus for repair.

The netbook should have come with at least 1 years manufacturers warranty so there should be no problem arranging for the webbook to go in.

I find it strange how a brand new netbook would fail in such a way so early in its life.

Please post back if you require anymore advice.

Our new Acer netbook needs to be at full volume setting to hear it. If other noise is in the background, it can not be heard. The help line says this is normal for 10 inch netbooks. Any feedback on this.

i used to have an acer too they all seem to be like that, it used to bug me till i decided to hook it up to the home stereo, I recommend getting some small external speakers or headphones.

I have hp mini netbook and want to connect with my hp laserjet 3050 printer. i coulnt`connect tried to download software but wanted `hpzpp4wm.dll file

Guessing that your netbook is running Windows XP as most do, you'll want to download the XP drivers for your printer and install them. Then try hooking it up to one of your netbooks usb ports.
