Only 2 speakers working

You probably need to re-install the drivers. If a disc came with the speakers insert it and go through the install. Other look on your speakers for the exact model number then go to the Logitech web site. Look under support or drivers and software. Find your speakers and download and install the last drivers for your speakers.

Make sure the speakers are hooked up properly and also that the sound card drivers are installed, you can verify this by going into the device manager. The main speaker wire has to be hooked up to the output of the computer sound card.

If the sound card drivers are installed and the speakers are hooked up properly and your still not getting sound, try the speakers on another computer that you know has sound. If the speakers work then its a sound card driver issue on the original computer. If the speakers don't work on another computer then you know the speakers are bad.

You need to unplug speakers if plugged in. Install the software and drivers for your Speakers. Then plug them in and you should be able to use them. If this doesn't work, go to device manager remove all USB devices, and reboot, then re-install software & driver. Then plug in ya speakers. They should work.

My speakers are plugged into my computer and when my computer trys to install it. it wont.. so now i have a speakerless computer... they worked on my last one.... i think i need a cd rom install disc or...

You answered your own question! First find out if the speakers are defective or not. If they are standard alalog types with a stereo 3.5mm plug on them you can try them on any standard MP3 player or walkman.

Set your computer up with your old speakers to make sure you have should. Then remove the old speakers and connect your new speakers in.

If your speakers are digitaly driven then you will most likely have to use the install disk for them.

I can't install my speakers

usually speakers like this dont need installation. just plug the green plug into the green jack on the back of your computer, cut the speakers on from the front knob on the speakers and you should be in business. (make sure your sound isnt muted by the way...there should not be a red circle on the speaker icon in the system tray, bottom right, beside the time)
if the speakers came with a cd, then they WILL need to be installed in which case you should just boot up (turn on) your computer, pop in the disc and follow the instructions.
hope this helps.
