Depending on the typ of burner it has, it should be located on the bottem in front of the burner rail, or to the side any way it will be int he burner rail, more than likey a hot surface ingintor.

Can't find the flame sensor on a Rheem furnace. (Can't find the model # either). Furnance is 20 y/o.


the flame sensor is usually located on opposite side of ignitor...note..some time when this happens it,s because of a poor ground..the circuitry depends on this ground for proper operation

Replacing a hot surface igniter on a Coleman


Yes, you will need to turn off your gas supply, disconnect some wires on the gas valve and disassemble the union to the gas valve. Be very gentle when reassembling because the ignitor is brittle.

Fan in furnance


any furnace with a blower will go on your electric bill but it really should'nt draw enough power to raise your bill noticably unless it's running constantly.
