Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Yeah, you are right: this is just "another DUMB site".

It is nice you finally figured out how to post here, so much for dumb site instructions, eh?

Try rebooting. Make the task you are attempting the first thing you do after a re-boot.

If that doesn't work, think about purchasing a PC and run Windows 7 or 8.

(oh, you can now officially quit telling your friends how much better the Mac operating system is over Windows now. I am sure they are tired of hearing it, anyway)

Phhhhhhhft.

Photoshop cs6 distorts color when open image in liquify

I had this same problem. It's something to do with PS using your graphics card to process liquify (and your card isn't suitable). Anyway, I discovered that going to Preferences and turning off the "Use Graphics Processor" option under "Performance" fixed it. I hope this helps.

How to editing photo

Hi, it depends on what do you want to do.
For example: To distort a face:
1·Open the photo of a face in photoshop. 2·Go to the "Filters" menu. 3·Select "Liquify" 4·Draw with your mouse over the eyes, nose and mouth until it looks funny. 5·Press "OK" and then save the image by pressing "Ctrl+S"
There, you just edited a photo in photoshop.
Of course, if you want to do a determinate effect, like make the photo look old, or make a fat person look skinny, you just have to look for that particular effect on Youtube and it's gonna be really easy to learn.
Hope to help

Are you trying to use it with a tablet device? Because some tablet devices override the drivers that are dependent for Photoshop. If this is not the problem, please leave a comment and I'll get back to you =)

What is vanishing point. How i use this on a picture .please give me the briefly idea about it.

Hi there,

Vanishing point is a variation of the Motion Blur Filter. When selected, it alters the image by blurring/stretching it toward a single 'Vanishing' point that you select. It is used to give the illusion of speed.

Tip: When working with image filters, make a copy of your image to fall back on by using Save As. The Undo option will back out the effects of the filters too. When you get the desired effect, Save it again. A good rule of thumb, how much work are you willing to redo? If you go past that point, make a copy.

Photoshop is one of the best.
The quickest way to learn it is hands on, to play with it.
Open an image, try each filter. Undo it and try the next.
You will like the Stylize Filters.

Some filters will open an option window allowing you to adjust the attributes of that particular filter.

Photoshop is an amazing tool. Enjoy it.

I installed new cs3, but got no liquidity filter in it!!!

It is quite strange. Are there the other filters, such as "Extract" and "Pattern Maker"?
do Shft+Ctr+X
If the liquify filter does not work, try uninstall and reinstall.
If you downloaded the installer, better download a new one.

Monitor displaying yellow tint

Try this. Worked for me immediately, including with PhotoShop

  1. Go to Color Management (in Vista, just click the Windows Orb / Start Search & type in Color Management)
  2. On Devices, select your display (repeat if you have multiple ones... at least I did). e.g., Syncmaster ....
  3. Check the box: Use my settings for this device
  4. Select any and all profiles you have and Remove them.
Check to see if that fixed it. You may need to restart. I didn't have to.
